Enjoy the sounds of nature while staying at this unique place. Animal and bird life is abundant and water lilies grow on the lake. There's nothing else around the lake, so you're all alone here. The house is located on a plateau 2 meters up in the air so it offers nice views of the lake. There is a wooden deck around the house that offers seating in different sunny locations as well as an outdoor kitchen where there is a storm kitchen for easier cooking. Next to it is a small outdoor toilet.

The space
The "Stolphuset" is about 7.5 square meters where there is room for 4 people to sit. There are three beds but if you want to sleep 4 people, it is possible to fit even if it is a bit cramped. There is a day bed that can be made so it will be 2 x 80 cm then there is also a built-in bed of 70 cm wide. There are duvets and pillows for three people, but if you wish to sleep four people, there are also blankets.

The Stolphuset is without running water and electricity but there are different solutions to this. It's good if you bring a cooler to store food.
The house is located next to a swamp lake called Nävsjön. Unfortunately, it does not offer a beach. But a swimming area and boat rental are available in the village of Hulevik, which is 800 meters away. There is a canoe in the accommodation but it is not always possible to get out to the lake, it depends on how high the water is.

Fishing is allowed in the lake, no permit is required. There are pike, perch and carp.

The surroundings in Hulevik are amazing! Just 2 km away is Trollberget, which is part of Åsnens National Park. There are cozy hiking trails and the possibility to barbecue. Near the house, there are two lookout towers about 2-3 km away. The nearest grocery store is 7 km away. There are cafés in the nearby area, about 6-10 km away. However, these are mostly open during high season.

Guest access
Upon arrival in Hulevik, you will come to our cottage located in the village of Hulevik. In the garage, you fill jugs with water and load it and other things you will need for your stay in your car. Then you drive down with your car to the Stolphuset, which is about 800 meters from Hulevik. You'll get more information on site.

Other things to note
You will have to bring a cooler with your food as there is no way to refrigerate the food at the cabin. There is the possibility of a natural shower, you can fill it with water on arrival and bring it yourself.

No heating is available in the house except for candles.
