I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 day stay with Mary while working in London. The room was quiet, warm and welcoming with 180º stunning views of the Thames River. The ensuite a bonus making my little domain private and relaxing. A delicious breakfast was offered each morning and I appreciated our friendly chats. Mary and family made me feel extremely welcome - I look forward to returning!!
This was the second time I stayed with Mary. She and her family are very warm and accommodating. The location is excellent. The room is very comfortable and a good value for London.
We had an incredible and fabulous experience staying with Mary and her charming family. The apartment was perfectly located and convenient to everything, it was clean beautifully furnished and just all around amazing. The breakfast was great and we have no hesitation to return.
When my wife and I planned a weekend in London in desmber we decided to for the first time try a b&b accomdation. We found and chose Marys room in her Battersea recidence after a long and thourgh look at a long list of alternative places all over London. Our stay with her more than met our ekspectations. We were warmly welcomed by Mary with a nice cup of tea, and she proved to be most helpful by answering and searching the internet to help to strangers in London to find their way around. We enjoyed getting to know this part of London which includes Battersea, and mutch of Kensington and Chelsea. We were positively surprised by the very good busservice near the house. We also enjoyed a very good bed and the panorama of the Thames from our room, as we did the nice, quiet area we lived in and nice long breakfast in Marys lounge one floor up from our room. We have certainly been encouraged to use b&b accomodation again when visiting London and other cities in he future.
I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay with Mary. It is a really charming apartment in a superb location with a wonderful view of the Thames. It was also extremely clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. Mary was really kind and welcoming. She was very helpful in offering advice about the city: restaurants, buses, the tube etc. And the breakfasts were great too. I hope I will be able to stay there every time I travel to London. What more can I say!
I would like to thank Mary and her daughter for hosting me at them house and it was very comfortable staying with them.
The location is good. You can go to Victoria station in 16 min by bus and kings road 7min by bus. There is a restaurant and supermarket near by.
The apartment and location were both wonderful. The room had an en suite bathroom and is on the entrance level of the 2nd story duplex. Breakfast is served upstairs, in Mary's elegant salon. The location is exceptionally quiet, overlooking the Thames
My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mary's beautiful apartment. Mary and her family were welcoming, friendly and interesting to talk with. They provided a healthy and tasty breakfast each morning in their living room which overlooks the river. We would certainly recommend staying in Mary's apartment.
The appartment is very charming and quiet, we really felt at home. The close neighbourhood has many things to offer, we expecially enjoyed strolling along the Thames and jogging through Battersea Park. Bus stops are nearby, busses run regularly to South Kensington and Sloane Sq tube stations, the heart of London is easily accessible. Mary and Viola were great hosts, served us delicious breakfast and helped us to book tickets etc. Truly recommended!
