  • My girlfriend and I were staying in NY for a couple of days and this was the perfect place for us. The apartment was a good size for the two of us and had everything we needed; good kitchen/living area, lovely bedroom and bathroom. Andrey was happy to meet us as soon as we were in the area and offered us any assistance we might need getting settled in New York. He showed us around the apartment (which was very clean) and then let us get on with our stay. We both really enjoyed the area, very close to food stores, off licences and plenty of great little cafes and restaurants. It was a relief after a day in Manhattan to spend the evening in this great neighbourhood in Brooklyn.

  • fantastic experience! just a little bit far from downtown although it is very close to the subway.

  • This was my first stay at Andrey's place. The apartment was CLEAN and comfy for my purposes. The rooms are spacious and well lit. The building is old but very well maintained. The place was warm when temps we're WELL below freezing.

I contacted Andrey from the airport and provided ETA. Andrey was waiting in from of the building when we arrived. He introduced us to the place and left us alone - the way it should be.

The linens were fresh and neat and bath was spic and span.

I'd definitely look him up the next time I'm in town.

  • With the delay, but here is my comment :)

Our host Andrey is very friendly, smiling, welcoming and available.

We had A great stay in Andrey's apartment, which is located in our favourite neighborhood. You cannot find A better location in the City. We will recommend it to anyone. Thank you Andrey!

  • Staying here was great! It's a small one bedroom but spacious. The neighborhood is great; you can walk the avenue and see local shops and restaurants. The subway was very close by. Andrey was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. This place was inexpensive and I really recommend it!

  • I had a wonderful long term stay in this cozy apartment--it was quite spacious for my use, adequate storage and closets, on the front of the building with good light. The immediate neighborhood was generally residential, but shopping on the avenues was a short walk away, also the subway stop was convenient. I selected this apartment because it was two blocks from a family member's home and felt very safe walking at night. I would definitely use this apartment again and hope it is available in the future!

  • This was a perfect rest stop for my daughter and I. The apartment is just two blocks from the Subway on 86th Street and you can get to Times Square within 40 minutes using the R and N trains.

The apartment is in a relatively quiet area with local shops and restaurants just one block away. The host is easily contactable and amenable. The wi-fi was very useful to keep in touch with friends and family.

It was very cost effective and I would be happy to stay here again especially if I went as a couple. Only downside is you can hear your neighbours.

    A great experience.

  • Andrey is always a gracious & Accommodating host. the only disadvantage was the lack of an elevator.

  • Great place to stay in Bay Ridge!

    October 2013
