We are a Danish/Dutch couple; we lived the first 6 years of our marriage in Abcoude (a place near Amsterdam / The Netherlands). In 1964 we moved to Denmark and bought this house.
The room is on the first floor, and bathroom is shared.
It is a rustic house (build in 1935) with a lovely view. The landscape is green with beautiful forests and little lakes. The garden is atmospheric and romantic with al kind of plants, shrubs and trees; we are self supplying by eating vegetables, herbs and berries from our own garden.
We are very happy with our house and garden. We do have 4 grownup children and 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. We like good books, art, nature and people. The last two years we have started our little bed & breakfast. All our guests are happy to be here and enjoy their stay - and we are very greatful to see so many of them coming back.
Distances to different places: it is only 29 km to the center of Copenhagen, 15 km to Hillerod and 30 km to the North coast. It is the perfect place to be if you want to enjoy Copenhagen but without the big city stress;)
You will receive a discount if you stay 3 night or longer. The longer you stay, the bigger the discount!

Her iblandt , Esrum kloster, Louisiana eller Københavnske muligheder.
Værelset var rent, rummeligt, lyst og hyggeligt– eget bad og tekøkken var ligeså.

Dear Inger & Jan
Your Bed & Breakfast is highly recommendable. We have enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings including both lakes and fields.
Also to mention, the many experiences, only a half our drive away, for instance Esrum Monastery, Louisiana (art museum) or opportunities in Copenhagen.
The room was clean, spacious, bright and welcoming – includes toilet/bath and kitchenette, which both were clean and useful.

It was wonderful to meet Inger & Jan and to stay in their beautiful home. The room was very big, with lovely windows and a table to sit and eat your food. Inger & Jan were extremely welcoming and friendly, they gave me good advice on what to visit (Louisiana Museum!) and where to walk in the woods. I even sat outside in their incredible garden, which I loved. It was really lovely to be in the Danish countryside and be in such a cozy home, with sweet hosts.
It was very nice to stay at Inger and Jan's place. They are great couple. They made everything for our pleasant stay. The room was nice and clean. There is a small place where you can make coffee and a small fridge where you can put your staff. The cupboard is full of beautiful old-fashioned cups and plates. The bathroom is small but clean with a window to the garden. It took us approximately 1 hour to get to Copenhagen bu public transport. Once you find out how it work it is a quite comfortable way how to get around. House's surrounding is beautiful kind of Copenhagen region countryside. We enjoyed our stay a lot :)
From the centre of Copenhagen you would need only max. 30 minutes to get to Inger&Jan's home which is to be found in a nice and quiet area. Inger and Jan are very friendly and communicative host and we liked it very much to stay at their place. Our room was very cosy, big, clean and bright with a shared kitchen area next door. So we could use the fridge and the microwave. We felt very comfortable and were especially charmed by their lovely garden! We highly recommend this place and thank Inger & Jan very much for their hospitality and for those delicious home-made biscuits!
Inger and jan are very nice people who will do everything they can to make your stay pleasent. They have a lovely house with a beautiful garden. The bed is very comfertable and the bathroom is small but functional and clean. You can make coffee and use the frigde. The rooms look very cosy. Its not hard to find the b&b. I recommand it to everyone who likes nature, peace, calm and hospitality.
