We are a small guest house, but our location is close to center of Ubud around 10 minute on foot. we will so you about the real Balinese live.
We have 4 bedrooms to rent our separately. Each room is equipped with either twin beds or a queen size bed and a ceiling fan. The shower comes with hot water and flush toilet . There is Wi Fi connection available in the guest house.
Ubud is a remarkable town in the middle of the island of Bali. For more than a century, it has been the island's preeminent centre for fine arts, dance and music. While it once was a haven for scruffy backpackers, cosmic seekers, artists and bohemians, Ubud is now a hot spot for literati, glitterati, art collectors and connoisseurs. Famous names walk its busy sidewalks everyday
Ubud is arguably the best place to use as a base if you're visiting Bali; if you're looking for culture, comfort, nature and inspiration. Ubud is surrounded by most of the things that bring people to Bali -- scenic rice fields, small villages, art and craft communities, ancient temples, palaces, rivers. And it's central location makes it easy to get from Ubud to the mountains, beaches, and major towns.
I had a lovely stay with Putu and Arlit. They take a lot of care and pride in what they do and are always happy to talk and get to know you. The breakfast was delicious. I found my room lovely looking into the Forrest, and still only a short walk to Bali Buddha and Radiently Alive Yoga. My room was basic but larger than expected and I had a mosquito net over my bed. They confirmed with me that is was okay that there wasn't air conditioning before my stay which was a lovely gesture.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The host family was so nice and accommodating, our room was great with an amazing view of nature, and we were right next to the Wi-Fi router so it was very fast. The breakfast each morning was the best we have had in 7 months of traveling! This family's lodge is a MUST stay in Ubud. Great all around.
We had a very warm welcome and a nice stay with the familiy of Ngurah. They did everything to make us feel like home. The room was nice and quiet with view to the djungle which was fine after a day in busy Ubud. Highly recommended!
Staying at Suastika Lodge was the reason my trip to Ubud was so wonderful. The Suastika family is so kind, friendly, and welcoming it really felt like I was another member of their family. Their breakfasts are delicious, they help with all your additional booking (Mt. Batur climb, etc.) and their location is quiet and relaxed. As for the showers, as long as you turn on the hot water to warm up a bit first, it works just fine. I can't say enough good things about this stay, or the Suastika family. Thank you for everything.
Very good value for money!
+ Great location
+ Spacious rooms
+ Very good breakfast
+ Extremely friendly host! Always smiling :)
- No aircondition, so more insects in the room + a few cockroaches in the bathroom
I had a very good and peaceful time at this Homestay. I room gave directly on the forest. Also I felt part of the family. Every morning I was spoiled to a delicious breakfast (there were many choices but my favorite was the banana pancake!) everyone in the family was very helpful. They helped me plan trips around the city and they were good a finding cheaper prices for me too! :) overall wonderful experience. I would come back to this Homestay in my next trip!
What a relaxing place to make a base. I really loved my room with tropical garden outlook. I enjoyed delicious scrambled eggs and omlettes for my breakfasts (always accompanied by fresh fruit). Was a very short walk to Radiantly Alive Yoga studio, with some lovely spots for food even closer ( Mama's Warung and Little India).
Alit, Putu, Ngurah and Ayu were such kind hosts, thank you so much for all the tips that really helped my Indonesian vocabulary.
