House and Pool are always well maintained as the housekeeper lives on the property, she is available for assisstance.
As well as being central to all the resturants and bars in the village the best surfing in the area is directly in front of the house, the best of locations.
Excursions into the Juan Venado Nature Preserve by boat or kyack are a must as is an off shore fishing trip with our local pro fisherman. Success is assured.
For something really memorable, take a horse for a gallop on the wide open beachs, it is still possible, it is that uncrowded.

Enjoy this rare and beautiful environment
Excellent location. Organisation was practical, helpful and informative.
We had a great stay.
Chris was consistently helpful and responsive. His transportation recommendations worked well and his visit advice and primer were thoughtful.
We opted to have a chauffeur takes us to and from Managua. It was straight forward and allowed us to avoid the complexities of driving in Nicaragua.
Rosa, the caretaker, was a terrific partner throughout our visit. We arranged for her to prepare our meals, as I would recommend anyone do. She assisted with select visit logistics and provided thoughtful and useful counsel throughout our visit. She is very kind.
The weather in February was faultless. We took evening drinks at the Playa Rocco Hotel just down the beach and availed ourselves of their wifi. A nice daily excursion.
The accommodations are nice if simple. The beach location is perfect.
Plumbing is fine but again simple.
We enjoyed our visit, as I am sure you will, too.
My siblings and I enjoyed a relaxing New Years holiday at this great home. There was plenty of room for visiting with our Nica primas on comfortable furniture. There is a lovely pool to stay cool during the warm afternoons. The beautiful beach is at your doorstep. The best part of the stay though is Rosa, the caretaker of the property. She kept the place clean and for a more than fair price cooked us amazing meals. Her gallo pinto and platenos Madura at breakfast and fresh fish dinner at supper are not to be missed. She is a treasure and an example of pure Nica hospitality. I hope to get a chance to stay here again .
The house and beach are even better than in the photos. Rosa is the best, super helpful but unobtrusive and very kind. Chris was also great, really helpful coordinating everything, including two complicated late night picks up from Magagua with his go-to driver Carlos (who is also great). The house has a cool indoor/outdoor vibe and the town is a sleepy, charming fishing village but has plenty of restaurants and things to do, so you're never bored. We had a great trip and would highly recommend.
The house was on the beach as advertised. The pool never looked as good as the picture. It clearly needed a cleaning and some professional pool maintenance. The bedrooms less than expected. The roll of the house keeper is confusing, we did not receive clean towels or linens during our week long stay. If we had known we could brought these items with us. The house needs some up-keep.
Great place to stay in Las Peñitas! Rosa the maid/cook was wonderful and helped keep the place very clean. Right on the beach and just close enough to a few restaurants/bars if you want to eat out. Also close enough to a few surf shops. Pool is small but deep and great addition to have when your tired of the salt water. Great surfing just a couple hundred feet away. Heavy rip tide directly in front if the property, but great safe water just up the beach.
