This is a lovely Studio apartment on Cabrera Street at the borderline between Palermo and Recoleta. In a modern nice building with everything you need to feel at home. Ideal for couples and digital nomads =). The place is well located to live like a local while being super close to mayor subte lines and buses. I can accommodate bigger parties ONLY if you contact me first and we'll try to work something out with an extra bed or however it's comfortable for you. Don't hesitate to ask.
I installed the best internet connection I could, and my goal is to make you feel at home so when you get here you'll find a transportation card, adapters and a friendly local host who will do whatever he can to help you make the most out of your trip. I can even give you a free 3G simcard if your phone happens to be unlocked too!
You are renting an entire apartment. The apartment comes with the best wifi, a transportation sube card to pay for buses and the metro, a list of cool tips and 3g simcards (please let me know in advance if you will need the simcard, it only works if your phone is unlicked). Plus everything you see in the pictures: Air conditioner, HD TV with Chromecast/Netflix and HDMI cable, Full equipped kitchen and bathroom, and some extra things such as umbrella, hair dryer and even a first aid kit. Everything you see in the pictures is for my guests to use and enjoy.
In the 10th floor there´s a laundry room works with tokens that you can buy in a kiosco (you will need two tokens, one for cleaning and the other for drying).
The listing does not mention the pool on the main floor because airbnb guests can´t use it, it´s only for permanent residents.
Interaction with guests
This place comes with a superhost =) That means I'm here to help! I do have a life and a job, but I'm 24/7 available online, with the airbnb app on my phone and if I can't be there to help you immediately, I'll send someon if I can't run to meet you should you have any emergencies. I try to meet all my guests personally the arrival day but it will depend on your arrival time. I'm super flexible, friendly and easy going and will do my best to help you out with tips on what to do, and guide you around. If you use a text app that´s the fastest way to contact me, add my number :)
I live on the next block and I love our neighborhood. It's walking distance to main spots in Recoleta and Palermo. It has a residential feeling with lovely bars and shops around, and we are close to major commercial avenues like Santa Fe and Corrientes, both of us 5 blocks away. Super easy access to public transport and fun places around.
Mayor buses lines pass through Cabrera street and Cordoba Avenue. It is very easy to get around by bus, and you will also have two mayor subway lines 4 or 5 blocks away from your door. There's an app to see how to move around (BAcomollego) and I give all my guests a transportation card (SUBE card) to make your life a million times easier using public transport.
I can help you get to the apartment from the airport as well, there are some options depending with airport you are landing at. Let me know and I'll be happy to help you.
Other things to note
I love technology and cooking, and I'm happy to help my guests providing with any cables, chargers or adapters, and utensils to cook. I have most of them already at my house =) So feel free to ask.
The three things that my guests love the most about the apartment are:
- The super fast internet connection
- The beautiful sun getting in from the balcony
- The residential character of the neighborhood with great public transport and the less touristy feel of the shops nearby. It's very authentic
One thing that some of my guests usually don't like is:
-That the apartment is 17 blocks (27 minutes walking) from Plaza Serrano. The location is very convenient in the borderline were Palermo meets Recoleta but that means that you are not in the center of those neighborhoods.
Enjoy the apartment! Just treat it with love and respect. The place will give it back to you providing a cozy place for your stay. Take care of it as if it is your own place, and return it the same way you find it.
CHECK IN & OUT
I'm very flexible with check-in/out times and always try to arrange what's best for the guests. You can stay as long as possible with no further payment, except if there is another guest either checking in/out on the same day you arrive or depart, in which case the Check-In is any time after 02:00 PM and Check-Out is 11:00 AM. If you plan to arrive at the apartment from midnight to 7am please let us know BEFORE you made the booking. It will have an extra cost of 15 USD.
Be careful to always make two complete turns before taking your key out. If you take it out making only the first turn, the mechanism gets locked and you won't be able to open it again. A fee of 25 USD will be charged for lost keys.
Please be very respectful to neighbors. No parties or large gatherings allowed. No high music after 08:00 PM or before 08:00 AM.
This is a nonsmoking apartment. If you want to smoke you can do so in the balcony with the door closed so the smoke doesn’t get inside.
Be mindful of electricity by turning off the lights and A/C when you are not at home.
There is a shared Washing and Drying machine in the building. It's in the 10th floor. It works with 2 pesos coins or tokens (moneda para lavandería) that you can buy at a local kiosco around the corner (it cost around 16 pesos per load).
You have to use the remote control to turn it on/off. Please remember to turn it off every time you leave the apartment (electricity in Argentina is very expensive! Plus we have to take care of global warming).
If needed, ask me how to turn it on for the first time, so you see how it works. You can leave it on or in pilot mode when you are out.
You can leave your garbage in the big trashcan located behind the stairs door. You can leave the recycling garbage at the apartment or bring it to the street green bins.
Please close all windows every time you leave the apartment (the weather is unpredictable). The wooden floor cannot get wet if it rains.
Cannot be washed/cleaned with water. If some liquid splits it has to be dried quickly to prevent damage.
Please don´t eat or drink on the bed.
Please beautiful lady don´t remove your make up with the towels, you will find cotton and makeup remover on the bathroom closet.
It’s not permitted to have overnight guest or visitors that are not included on your reservation.
I've been living in Buenos Aires for almost 9 years now and can't get enough of the vibrant energy, culture and diversity it has to offer.
I love travelling, and finding airbnb was life changing. I always stay on airbnbs when I travel because I want to feel at home anywhere in the world. That's also what I want my guest to feel when staying at one of my places in Buenos Aires.
As a guest and a host, I make every effort to be as respectful, accommodating, and friendly as possible, and I treat my guests as friends who are visiting me. I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places and will always do my best to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Oh! And I also like to try new coffee bean blends, as I'm sort of a coffee geek =)
