The apartment is one large open space. Except for the bathroom, there are no doors and no walls.
The apartment has no washer or dryer, but there is a laundromat two blocks away which offers self-service and drop-off service. We have a cart and laundry bags to borrow if you want to take your laundry there.
Early check-in and/or late check-out available if the adjacent dates are not booked.
On parle un peu de Français.
*** Please note: We live one block away from a large public housing project. ALL Airbnb apartments in this neighborhood are near it one way or another. It is not dangerous, and you'd have to really go out of your way to walk past it, but it IS an urban environment. However, we have lived here for ten years (we actually live upstairs from the Airbnb apartment with our toddler son.... don't worry, he sleeps through the night!), and have never felt unsafe. ***
NO SMOKING. NO PETS.
No smoking anywhere on premises, INCLUDING back yard.
Please be courteous to our neighbors.
Thanks very much!
Zachary was a perfect host! He was friendly, warm, and best of all, perfectly organized and professional! they made me feel at home and also gave me total privacy and space. the perfect combination of available and respectful. The apartment is charming, spacious and comfortable, with high ceilings and light... and every amenity I needed.
Zachary and Jody (and Horatio!) were great hosts. They were welcoming, informative, and clear and kind. I look forward to coming back when it's summertime and we can make use of the sweet back yard! The location is great and the space really fun with the very high ceilings and open feel.
The apt was spacious and very welcoming. Zachary and Jody were great hosts and we will definitely stay again. Quiet with quick access to restaurants, grocery stores, and a short hop on the subway to Manhattan, although Brooklyn also has a good variety of stores. We will be recommending this apt to our friends as well.
Zachary and Jody are the best hosts you could have in the neighborhood of Brooklyn Cobble Hill. Incredible nice apartment, perfect for the stay with a child. They filled the fridge with some welcome grocery, provided a crib and also the information sheet they left in the apartment was very helpful! Thanks again for having us!
We had a lovely stay at Zachary and Jody's apartment. The apartment was exactly as promised, even better! Spacious, tidy, comfortable and pretty. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, but just a block away we found lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. And easy access to a Subway as well.
Would definitely recommend the apartment to others!
We've called Boerum Hill our home since 2002. We love New York, Brooklyn, and especially this neighborhood, and are happily raising a family here.
We think staying in neighborhood places that Air BnB and other websites offer is much more interesting than staying in hotels—you get to meet local people, and that's the best part of traveling!
