Our house is situated in Didsbury, one of Manchester's liveliest areas with lots of busy bars restaurants and cafes within a short walk. Although close to local amenities, the street is quiet and does not suffer from traffic noise.
The room is large, with plenty of storage space and has a king-sized bed. The room has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a shower. The room is situated at the back of the house and has a large window with a view of the garden.
Wi-Fi is available.
A buffet style breakfast is included consisting of home made breads, cereals, fruit and yoghurt.
The house is well located for Manchester Airport, which can be reached by tram or bus, and for the universities. Parking is on-street but safe and there is plenty of space.

I retired early (6 years ago) from a professional role in order to spend more time with my camera. The camera bit didn't really work out as I spend most of my time keeping house and looking after our wonderful guests. Christine works in admin. We live in a largish Edwardian semi. We are a very sociable couple and we enjoy the social life in our community.
Guests seem to enjoy our house. Our house is clean but It is certainly not the tidiest house you will have seen. There are usually a few bits of clutter lying around. Books, newspapers and grandchildren's art work are often sprinkled around the place. I always tell Christine that a bit of clutter adds atmosphere to a home. She doesn't always agree.
