Looking for a cozy authentic, simple but big room to stay in, with kitchen and bathroom access, and you don´t mind me and my extremely polite, down to earth and used to having AirBnB guests daughter (3 years old) sleeping in the other room... than this is a good deal!:)
The room has a 2-PERSON BED , and a sofa that is nice to sleep on. But how many people that choose to stay, is up to you, with no extra cost.
If you are more than 2 people you will need to take a sleeping bag with you. If needed I can provide a madress for the floor to sleep on if more than 3 people.
There is no TV.
... instead there is a fast wireless connection... good speakers and a old but good stereo for entertainment, with a jack stick for iPod, smartphone etc.
Apart from that there is also a small dinner table.
Use as you please, and use everything in the fridge and/or move food around to make space for your own items. There is tea and coffee for free use.
I do not have a oven but I do have a multi function microwave.
The shared bathroom has a shower .I do not own an hairdryer.
And bring our own towels.
My apartment is the part of town called Nordvest ( Northwest). My neighbourhood is quiet and safe, and about a 10-minute walk away you will find the very popular, diverse and hip part of town known as Nørrebro. A part of town known for it´s ethnic diversity, small local cafes, lots of Middle Eastern cuisine and hip cozy bars.
Shopping is 5 minutes away. A 8 minute walk takes you to a Copenhagen size "shopping mall"(small).
Bus 6A leaves every 6-10 minutes for the city center and it takes about 15-20 minutes. The bus stop is a 3-minute walk away.
There will be provided city maps, and I will do my best to recommend places to go and see.
TRANSPORTATION from AIRPORT
Take the metro to Nørreport Station. From there take bus number 6A (towards Buddinge St. /Empdrup Torv)
Get off at LYGTEN... the bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. From the bus stop you can see my street. (see picture on listing)
I am 31, a student at Copenhagen University studying history and gender studies.
I am a big people lover, and enjoy company.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Do not hesitate to write if you have any further questions.

Sarah is a very nice and welcoming host! She left the whole apartment to my group of friends and I- allowed us to use the kitchen, wifi, space heater and accomodated her spare room for four people. The room looks just like the picture. Her apartment is a bus away from the city center of Copenhagen, and didn't make travel difficult. The only negative comment I have on the experience was that the kitchen wasn't left very clean; there were dirty dishes in the sink and food left on the counter, but overall a great and cheap place to stay!
I was looking for a comfortable place for a group of us 5 to stay in, and I found all that and more with the ample space and amenities that Sarah provided us with. It was easily accessible by public transport (which was reliable and frequent), near some cafes and grocery shops in what felt like a really safe neighbourhood. An overall pleasant experience despite the rain and cold outside! Sarah's apartment was always warm and cozy, and if you don't mind the 20 minute bus ride to town I highly recommend staying here.
Thanks Sarah for making Denmark a wonderful experience for me and my friends. I finally experienced hygge from all the strangers and friends I met in my short stay there, and it was such a warm and great way to relax after a hard term at school. Hope to see you again!
The room was as described, we were 4 and were able to sleep with 1 on the couch and 3 on the big bed (however also a mattress was provided).
We haven't seen much Sarah but she has been kind giving us what we needed when we arrived and we haven't had any problem.
Location is good, renting bikes is amazing and allows you to be in city center in 15 minutes and be free going around otherwise there's a bus station in front of the house which works very good!
I think it's a good solution for a week-end in Copenaghen with friends at an interesting price.
Literally could not have had a better experience- we felt totally comfortable and very at home in the room. The space was super clean and welcoming, and Sarah is a WONDERFUL host. The apartment is right next to a little pizza place and a grocery store (and some other restaurants and bars), which was super convenient, and there's a bus stop less than two minutes away where you can take a bus straight to the city center. She also directed us to tons of cool things we never would have known about had we been in a regular hostel or hotel, and made us feel totally welcome in her home- she even has a whole binder full of maps and brochures and other cool things to do in Copenhagen! Amazing host and space, we would 100% recommend staying here. :)
Our stay at Sarah's apartment was really nice. We were 4 people and the room was big enough, Sarah gave us bed linen for each of us and even provided a mattress for the fourth person who had to sleep on the ground. We think it is a good and cheap stay for young people who just want to visit copenhagen for a few days. Of course, the apartment is not the newest, but that was not a problem for us since we only stayed one night.
" Upon entry song Sarah see the house and told that we could use everything. The room looked cozy and the bed slept well. They also gave us an extra mattress on the floor. In the room a guitar and a good music system, ideal to which we could connect. Was our phone The keyhole of the door of the flat was just a little stiff. The neighborhood was good, and it was a 5 minute walk to a bus to the center. All in all a super room, welcoming and a cheap price!"
