Had a lovely time in Florence. Beautiful little apartment in a perfect location just a small walk from the ponte vecchio and the main squares in florence. Lorenzo was a great host and helped us with parking our car and showed us places to go during our stay with great recommendations. The apartment is in a lovely little area with bars and restaurants that have a great atmosphere. Will definitely be recommending the place to family and would love to return in the winter.
This is the perfect place to stay in Florence as its central but it feels like a real neighbourhood away from the tourists. The flat is lovely and the air-con was a welcome surprise! Lorenzo gave us some great food recommendations and could not have been more welcoming. We were delighted with everything.
Couldn't have asked for more from this property. The place is very comfortable & perfect for a couple. It was very hot during our stay, but the air conditioning was very effective.
Strong wireless internet, & plenty of books, maps & tips on where to go & eat are in the house. Kitchen is modern & well stocked with cooking equipment.
Lorenzo helped us carry our luggage up the stairs & was friendly & accommodating. The street is vibrant with many cafes & restaurants. A short walk into the heart of Florence makes it a great location to explore the city from. We highly recommend staying here for single or couples.
Lorenzo greeted us with a friendly smile, helped us with our bags and took us up to his flat. He made us feel welcome.
The Flat was as described and Lorenzo explained where everything was and gave us hints and tips where to eat and shop and to get a DELICIOUS ice cream!
Lorenzo's flat was a relaxing place to return to after a hot day to cool down. Situated in an ideal area close to the Centre but away from the hustle and bustle.
There is a friendly Cafe a couple of doors down where we enjoyed our breakfast.
Wow! This was our first time in Florence and we were thrilled with this apartment and its location. The size is similar to a hotel room and for two people it's perfect. The stove, air conditioning and WIFI worked great and the bed is REALLY comfortable. Lots of great restaurants and a big grocery store nearby. We loved the San Niccolo area and would stay here again. The host is extremely gracious and he's provided guide maps and books for guests to borrow. You will need to walk up three flights of steps that get progressively narrow. If you have huge heavy bags, strollers etc. be prepared. The building is a former monastery and the history is really interesting. Very clean and very well cared for. Lorenzo described this apartment perfectly and we really enjoyed it.
Lorenzo made us very welcome - in fact the whole family checked us in, which was fun. He made some great suggestions including offering to book us a taxi to catch an early train - which turned out to be a lifesaver.
The apartment is in a brilliant location, very near the centre, but has the feel of a local neighbourhood. It's pretty small, but beautifully renovated. We really appreciated Lorenzo helping us with our bags up all those stairs. We were just sorry I hadn't booked it for a longer stay.
