Super Central & Newly Renovated 2

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Avenue de l'Hotel de Ville, Montreal, QC H2W 1H3, Canada

The Space

This area (the Plateau) is the most trendy area in the city so if you want to pretend to be a Montrealer for a short time, this is the place to be! It's right in the center of the plateau and within walking distance of all the action, but it's on a quiet residential street so you can be away from the hustle-bustle at night.

You'll be in between St-Laurent and St-Denis streets, some of my favorite Montreal streets for shopping, cute cafes, delicious restaurants, and trendy bars. Just down the block are Duluth and Prince Arthur streets, known for delicious bring your own wine restaurants with great outdoor patios. You really could not be more central! If you need to get around the city, you'll also be within a 10 minute walk of the subway station.

The apartment is newly renovated and tastefully decorated (if I may say so myself!), and you'll have everything you need here - a kitchen, living room, little dining nook and two bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal, that is if you've had enough of all of Montreal's St-Denis street feasts! Each bedroom consists of a double bed, and I have a blow up mattress that I can set up in the living room so I can accommodate groups of 6. I have a washer and dryer inside the apartment which is also great for longer stays.

If you want to get to know your neighbors, the building is all Airbnb so feel free! see my other listings here:

  • This is a great place, very comfortable and spacious. The whole transaction was smooth and painless as well. The area of Montreal is beautiful and close to a lot of interesting and fun places. Had a wonderful time there and would most definitely recommend this apartment to anyone interested in visiting Montreal.

  • Maddie's apartment was great and she was very helpful with our questions. Great location-just minutes' walk from Blvd St. Laurent and Rue St. Denis, with tons of good restaurants and bars in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

  • This apartment is exactly as pictured. Maddie was willing to allow me to check in early since my flight got in a couple hours before check in. The space was comfortable and had everything that was needed. As a host, Maddie was always quick to answer any questions posed. This place is in a great area for walking with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. If there is one thing that could be improved, it would be the detail cleaning in the apartment. There are a few nooks and crannies that clearly hadn't been vacuumed/dusted in a while since dust bunnies were beginning to take up residence, but otherwise the place was in good shape.

  • We enjoyed staying at Maddie's place--it had everything we needed. Great location and Maddie was excellent with communication.

  • Maddie's place was exactly the amazing place pictured on the listing and very clean upon arrival. Amazing location in the heart of the Plateau and parking wasn't too hard to find for free either. She was excellent with communication and an absolute pleasure to rent from. Based on our experience I'd (1) Highly recommend this flat and (2) recommend any of Maddie's properties knowing how accurate and great this one was.

  • A beautiful and warm apartment in a fantastic location. The pictures are 100% as the flat was - clean, spacious and fitted with all kitchen mod cons. Thoroughly enjoyed walking around the area and loved the coffee shops on Boul St Laurent and Rue Saint Denis. Easy collection of keys and Maddie was contactable throughout our visit for any queries.

Aside from recommending this apartment we loved hot yoga here (website hidden) and food here (website hidden) - it's a vegan restaurant and we're both meat eaters but it was incredible!

  • Maddie was very helpful and patient (especially when we couldn't find the apartment!). The apartment was perfectly situated for walking, easy access to Metro, shops, stores etc.

  • Stayed here mid February with my cousin and had a FANTASTIC time! Maddie was very patient with all my first-timer questions and always responded promptly. Her place was exactly as it appears and we loved it. By day 2 we were calling it home. Having a lock box for the keys made it very easy as there was no worry if our flights were delayed.

Given the time of year we were there, having temperature control in each room was a godsend. And the little balconies were perfect for checking the weather outside before venturing out.

The location couldn't have been more perfect! The Plateau is a fantastic area with a huge variety of places to eat and shop. Maddie's place is right in the heart of things, but perfectly tucked just off the main street so it's never noisy. We even walked to Old Montreal and around downtown and back to her place one afternoon.

The wi-fi was always fast and reliable (which was very important to us). The tv only had 2 English channels (yah I know not that important if you are there to see the city) but if you do want to watch a movie or something in the evening and have your laptop with you, it may be a good idea to bring some cords to maybe connect to the tv. I never had an issue getting hot water.

There is a fairly steep and narrow set of stairs to get to the apartment, so if you have mobility issues, it may be difficult for you. Lugging out bags up was a bit of a challenge, but it was a minor hassle and didn't take away from the great place.

I would absolutely reccommend this place to anyone else. I would happily stay here again!
