I can't recommend this house enough. Believe it or not, it's even more beautiful in real life. And Alexis gives quick and helpful communication at every step on the way! We can't wait to go back and stay again next year.
House is beautifully restored and renovated as photographs clearly show. Living accommodation on first floor is excellent (including the outside terrace) and sleeping on ground floor was peaceful (although only one WC on ground floor was at times tricky)! The garden was safely enclosed (excellent for our small dog) and pool was delightful. Village very quiet and picturesque with an excellent baker but had to drive for anything-else! Alexis was a wonderful host and always communicated promptly and helpfully.
This is an absolutely wonderful spot. Alexis has clearly put a ton of work into restoring and renovating this property and it shows everywhere. We stayed with our extended family - 7 adults and two small children - and we had more than enough space for everyone. Alexis was the perfect Airbnb host - extremely responsive and helpful and concerned with our well-being while we stayed. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in the French countryside.
Dealing with Alexis was indeed a very pleasant experience, all communication was very friendly, service minded and smooth.
The house is nothing less than amazingly beautiful, very stylish and renovated with high quality materials. We were 9 persons staying in the house, 3 generations - and the plan of the house was optimal and very functional – even for 12 persons.
The surroundings are absolutely charming, and visiting the big market In Uzes is a must. We went there on a Saturday, and spend 3-4 hours just walking around looking at, tasting and buying local crafts, French nougat, olives, bread, cheese, lavender soap etc. We also had a full day trip to Aix-en-Provence and a full day trip to Avignon. Five days in this house was actually not enough, we could easily have spend at least another week in the house and the area. Will definitely recommend and return.
