This is a must-stay if you want something authentically enchanting. Upon arriving, our taxi driver said this was one of the most historical streets and houses in all of Copenhagen and how fortunate we were in choosing it. He was spot-on. It was immaculate, cheerful and a true delight in feeling the history of the building. Something as simple as looking out every window was even an added treat. Perfect location for walking to majority of the city sights, and conveniently close to public transportation. You'll be happy you chose staying here. Thank you, Gitte! We'd stay here in a heartbeat again and again.

Gitte's home is located within walking distance from many attractions in Central Copenhagen! The metro station and a fine bakery is three blocks away. The home is very cozy and ideal for a small family. Gitte communicated frequently by email. Highly recommend!

Gitte's home is so amazing in every respect. The apt is located on a quiet quaint and exquisitely beautiful (and apparently historical) street. It would be difficult to find a more lovely location. As for the apt itself, we were a family of four with two grown children (20 and 21 years old). There was more than enough room for the four of us to spread out. The living room and dining room are located on a second floor of the apt. My son slept there on the couch so as to watch tv while we all slept. He is 6'3" tall and was very comfortable. The apt is adorable.

Gitte's building is a charming older building in a nice location that has easy walking access to the center of Copenhagen. There were a few issues with cleanliness and the readiness of the place as in the beds weren't made and there was a dirty stovetop. For the price that was paid I would expect more in terms of cleanliness and service.

Gitte's apartment is very cosy and stylish. It was great to return to a homely flat after a long day's sightseeing. Very comfy! The apartment is easy to find and close to metro, supermarket and very good bakery. Would recommend.

Very nice and quiet flat (off main street) in an old house centrally located in Christianhavn, 5 minutes walking to the subway, shops and restaurants. Gitte is responsive and flexible for arrival / departure time which is a plus. I definitely recommend this flat.

What a great place to stay. Charming, spacious and well equipped. We felt at home from the second we arrived to the minute we left. We can't wait to get back to Copenhagen, and hope we get to stay st Gitte's place again.
