The Space

MASTER SUITE FOR RENT! This room sleeps 2 comfortably!

The room comes furnished with a very comfortable Queen size bed with a foam topper. There is also FREE PARKING space for your car. There is also a GYM, SWIMMING POOL AND A JACUZZI. Heavenly ! The apt is bright and airy, very clean and cozy.

Light access to the kitchen. Great for breakfast, light lunch and dinner. Not for heavy duty cooking.

Hiking trails right outside and 10 minutes drive from downtown Sausalito. Plenty of street parking too!

Sausalito is located just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, on the south-eastern tip of Marin County. It is easily accessible by car or bus over the Golden Gate Bridge or by ferry from Fisherman’s Wharf or the Ferry Building on San Francisco’s Embarcadero.

Sausalito covers a mere two and a half miles. It’s a small town of only 7,500 residents boasting spectacular waterfront views.

Perched on a Mediterranean looking hillside, this quiet community, reminiscent to many of the French or Italian Riviera, offers an incomparable quality of life. From its early years, Sausalito has had a split personality. The waterfront has long been home to many boat builders and other marine service industries and craftsmen, while the hills are filled with expensive homes.

  • The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Ane was tentative to any needs or concerns, and was very willing to make any changes to make things more comfortable for my stay. She was nice enough to show me around San Francisco on my days off, which was nice being new to the area. The view is very beautiful! There is a trail right outside the apartment that is great for running or walking with great views. The apartment is very quiet and is great for any professionals or serious students. My room was very comfortable and private and shared the same amazing view from the apartment.

  • Anne was the kind of host that any traveler would be so grateful for! Friendly, open, and respectful of independence and privacy. A great roommate!
Her apartment was immaculate and cozy and the bed was ultra comfortable. the room has a lovely desk that she made herself and provided a great quiet space for work. I most highly recommend Anne and her room for a weekend getaway or a longer stay.

  • Ane has a lovely apartment in a great location. The views are breathtaking and the easy access to hiking trails nearby is a treat. If you love nature and the outdoors, this is the place for you. While the apartment complex is off the main road, there is quick access to the highway, allowing you to easily travel north toward wine country or south into the city.

  • It was a very good time to stay with Anne in this summer. Her apartment is clean, quiet and comfortable place. You can see a beautiful view of San Francisco from the balcony. Anne is also the best host I have ever met. She is friendly and helpful.
If you work in downtown San Francisco I recommend to take the Golden Gate Transit bus (2 or 80) in work days. But a car is still necessary because it's a little far from the grocery stores. The apartment is on the top of the hill so if you don't have the car you need to walk up there.
Anne has a very lovely puppy, if you love dog that's the best!

  • I was very happy to get to stay at Anne's place, she was a kind, thoughtful, and patient host. Her dog Bobby is the sweetest, best behaved dog I've met. He gives you your space but is also happy to interact if you are a dog lover. Sausalito is one of the most beautiful places in California and I enjoyed my easy commute to San Francisco by bus or Ferry with breathtaking views along the way.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I agree with you that taking the ferry or riding the bus to commute to work in San Francisco is a beautiful, breathtaking ride. What a great way to commute! Remember if you decide to come back to Sausalito, there's a permanent room available for you!
