  • Kathy's house is gorgeous! We really enjoyed our stay - beautiful house in a quiet area, 20min walk into town, comfy bed and lovely kitchen, bathroom and lounge area. Kathy even left some maps and information about Dublin out, and advised us on places to go and eat. We would highly recommend her home!

  • Although of the beaten path, Kathys home is in a quaint and quiet neighborhood. The house was almost as lovely as the hostess herself.

  • I love Kathy, and her place is wonderful. You will be comfortable and surrounded by positive energy in her home. I was jet-lagged for a few days but the comforts of Kathy's easy-going, lovely place were welcomed. She was warm, helpful and knowledgeable about the most hip places and things to do in Dublin. Her place is very close to the tram which can take you all over the city. I highly recommend a stay at Kathy's if you are planning a trip to this beautiful, vibrant place.

  • Kathy had an adorable, spacious flat. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was great. It wasn't the most convenient place in town, but a cheap cab ride to the city center. She was out of town during my stay, but Kathy was responsive and very pleasant to liaise with.

  • Kathy is such a lovely host! I had a wonderful time in Dublin and living at Kathy's place was just perfect. The neighborhood is really nice and quiet and it only takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Temple Bar or 10 minutes by bus. I really had everything I needed (a nicely decorated house to feel comfortable in, a kitchen I was free to use, even a small garden) and Kathy also gave me some tips where to (website hidden)ndalough, Cornucopia etc.). I can definitely recommend staying at her place.

  • Unfortunately we did not get to meet Kathy because she was away; however, we did get to meet two other lovely girls who were staying there. Kathy's place was clean and comfortable. Getting to and from the city center on the bus or light rail train was fast and easy. It was great to be able to do laundry after 5 days of traveling.

As another visitor note, the plumbing is rather old and makes a loud noise. This is only a problem if you need to take a shower early or late when other people are still sleeping. We found the muesli and tea but no milk, yogurt, or fruit. We were able to buy our own across the street so this was not a big deal.

  • Kathy was great. We had a great location, only a 15 min walk to the center. She quickly responded to any questions or emails that we had and even bought us beer!!! It was a great time in Dublin and Kathy even had breakfast for us as well as a guide of things to do in Dublin. Thanks Kathy, we definitely recommend your place!

  • Kathy's house is a very cozy quiet little retreat in Dublin and easy walking distance to the city centre. Kathy was very generous with her house and I would love to come back again soon! A great place to stay!!

  • My friend and I stayed 5 days at Kathys lovely place. It was my first time in Dublin and also my first airbnb experience ever. We loved the house because it is located in a typically Irish neighbourhood with beautiful small houses, but it is only a 10 minutes busride away from the city center. We had the house for ourselves as Kathy was travelling at the same time. But she invited us to come and stay at her place anyway. We appreciate the hospitality and felt right at home.
Thanks a lot, Kathy, for this easygoing holiday in a great city. If you come to Berlin, make sure to stop by for a cup of coffee or so.

I am a producer of cultural events & experiences in Ireland and am most passionate about making curious things happen. I am obsessed with art, music, theatre, film, fashion, literature and yoga . Am happy to point you in the right direction for gigs, shows and other pop up happenings around the city. I am also a yoga teacher & student and teach classes at a few centres around the city. I am bit of a global nomad and travel to inspiring places ( Iceland, India , California ) as much as possible especially to see shows, go to gigs and festivals or practice with international yoga teachers. My house is full of books, art and little treasures collected around the world on my adventures. I love living at Mount Brown as the neighborhood has so much character & feels like a living on set of a magical Harry Potter. I love being so close to the huge parkland expanse of Phoenix Park and the hundreds of deer that live there. This part of Dublin feels like a secret hideaway tucked from the hustle & bustle of city living complete with urban foxes nearby It cools to be to be an Airbnb host as I had an incredible experience in Colorado & California in 2012 and am ready to travel again in the near future.
