The Space

Breath taking Ocean views 180 degrees, 42 miles of unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea! This Mediterranean multifamily building sits on the side of a cliff in Farjardo, Puerto Rico. It was designed and built by my father, Jorge.

What this bungalow has to offer is... God's Grace, perched like a canary admiring the sea. It is an artist get away!!!

No elevator in the building.
To access the loft apartment there are 2 flights of stairs.

Interaction with Guests

I live in Miami (only a phone call away). My father Jorge if he is in town will great you at the building.

The Neighborhood

It is near the National Rain Forest, El Yunque and PR Virgin Island's of Palomino, Vieques and Culebra (just a ferry ride away). This is a spot for the adventuress traveler who is more interested in sliding down the natural rock form water slide nestled in El Yunque than merely touring "Old San Juan" in a trolley. Yet, the apartment is in the same town as the very popular hotel, El Conquistador. Try your luck at the gambling tables.

Getting around

To get to the building there are several winding roads and a typical "pueblito" Puerto Rican neighborhood you must drive through. IT IS SAFE! Everyone in the neighborhood knows Jorge and where his house is located. A car is highly recommended!

There is no public transportation until you reach the main street (10 minutes walk down hill). Within the city limits there is the convenience of a Wal-Mart, a super market, Burger King, a movie theater, and many more restaurants and retail shops.

Other Things to Note

Available for long term rental.
1/1 also available for rent approx. 500 sqf. Same price.

  • We loved staying here! The apartment is gorgeous and breezy, with a truly magnificent view; the balcony is wonderful for an evening drink. It's located extremely close to the ferry (to travel to Culebra or Vieques), and close to beautiful beaches like Luquillo Beach and Seven Seas. Rebeca is very responsive and her father Jorge is delightful - he's super helpful and welcoming, and very respectful of your privacy. Recommend a car to travel to and from beaches and restaurants/supermarket. Wonderful place to decompress and relax.

  • We stayed here for 7 days and enjoyed every minute of it. The fact that we were near mostly everything we wanted to accomplish was great. The house is minutes from the ferry which takes you to Culebra or Vieques, Luquillo Beach, El Yunque, and the kayaking for the Bio-Bay. The view from the balcony was refreshing every morning. We definitely plan on asking this host for another vacation stay and we would recommend this place to any of our friends and family. Thank you Rebeca and Jorge!

  • What an absolutely fabulous place to stay. We went to Puerto Rico on vacation for a week and it felt more like we were staying in a lovely second home rather than a stuffy, sterile, cookie cutter hotel. We heard coquís (treefrogs- hope I'm spelling that right) in the evening, roosters in the morning, and enjoyed breathtaking views and fresh wind and sun on our faces on the balcony. Jorge, Rebeca's father and owner of the building, was warm and welcoming. He was a great host- letting us have our time alone but also sharing his story and love of puerto rico. Rebeca was super super responsive and helped us whenever we needed. Please note that they weren't kidding when they said no kids and that it is best if you have a car! It is well worth it. Stay here. seriously.

Hello, I manage this property for my father Jorge. I reside in the USA and he lives in PR for part of the year. I am your point of reference until you arrive in the beautiful island of PR. My father is an avid sailor. He is fluent in English and has been living in the island for over 40 years. He is a very warm and charming soul. Ask him about Cuba and you will never be bored of hearing his stories!
