The space
Our property, home to The Birdhouse in Hancock, the Campton's Kitchen & Grill and Troutbrook Studios, was purchased in 2006 to house a a bevy of thirty something dreams (we are now in our 40's :-) Today it holds forty something dreams, great food, and a curated atmosphere.

The Birdhouse *so named by locals in reverence of the feathered friends who resided onsite* has three suites - Owl, Nest & Koo Koo. Owl ~permanently rented~ is a comfy one bedroom. Koo Koo is a large one bedroom with a queen and one twin plus four twin beds in the common space. Nest offers two bedrooms ~ queen and a full. All have their own kitchen, living room and bathroom. Separate keyed entries.

After an extensive renovation and restoration The Birdhouse in Hancock is happily outfitted with a geothermal heating system, energy star rated/energy efficient appliances and fixtures, non-toxic finishes, low-flow faucets, Watersense toilets, restored 100 year-old floors, original moldings, reclaimed doors, and recycled furnishings.

Eat at the Campton's downstairs - Amazing. Enjoy Trout Brook Studios. Visit Parkalbaum's Emporium - Handmade and Vintage. Venture out to the smokehouse nearby - yummy (reviewed by Anthony Bourdain). The scenic Delaware River is a 5 minute walk (Hancock is the head waters of the Delaware River). RESERVE TUBES IN THE SUMMER FOR $15.

Please note we are located in a small river village. There is a bus that goes to Hancock, NY. Via car: 2 1/2 hours form NYC via major highways.

Great stopover on the NYC to Toronto drive!

Guest access
You have access to a 2 bedroom, full kitchen with basics, one bath apartment. Towels and linens included. $8 laundry fee.

Other things to note
We ask that guests park across the street in the municipal lot when the Bakery is open (April-Nov). This allows their customers the opportunity to park and grab a quick bite.
