You will need a car to enjoy our villa. Please note that the dirt-track (gravel) road is about 1.5km (about 5 minutes), so be prepared for your car to get dusty. Because of our location overlooking the river, we sometimes get bugs in the summer or on moist nights. Be sure to bring some bug spray if you're sensitive to mosquitos.

Arrochela is a peaceful, secluded neighborhood on the outskirts of historic Silves, overlooking the Arade River. Just a 15 minute drive to some of the Algarve's best beaches like Benagil Beach, and a 10 minute drive to downtown Silves where you'll find lots of options for eating and drinking. Silves has several grocery stores, and the municipal market, for cooking during your stay.
