We stayed at Raffaella's apartment for 3 nights in June. We had a nice stay overall and I would consider staying there again in the future. She arranged for late checkin and that was very helpful.
Location, location, location. The apartment is located in the Jewish Ghetto - lively and vibrant. It is a great area to get a vibe for Rome. It is about 5-10 minutes walk from Piazza Venetia and 10-15 walk from the Coliseum. It was easy to get around walking. The apartment is on the ground floor. The apartment is functional with a pull out couch, a double bed, and a single bed. The beds were clean and we had lots of clean towels.
There is no wifi and I did not have a mobile signal in the apartment. Although there were 2 AC units in the main room with the pullout, there was no AC unit in the bedroom which had a double bed and single bed (although it was not warm when we were there in June and we slept with the windows open). The apartment backs to a courtyard which could be a little loud at night.
Raffaella appartment is really well situated, in the heart of Roma.
We had a good stay in this place but cleanness wasn't really perfect especially under beds...
Moreover shower pipe was broken.
To recommend if you are looking for one place in the center of Roma and if cleaness is not a big deal for you!
the appartment is really in the best place ever, two minutes from campo dei fiori, and the forum.
the appartment is perfect for a short stay as we had, and Raffaella was a nice host and very kind and make some arrangement for our luggages when we left,
a nice place to stay
thank you Raffaella
We had a terrific stay at Raffaella's place. The neighborhood is superb: lively and close to all main tourist attractions. The apartment itself is roomy, clean and fully functional.
We had a fantastic time in Rome; Raffaella's apartment was definitely a contributor to our wonderful experience!
We just spend, with the 4 of us, three nights in this lovely, excellent located, monumental apartment . We couldn't have wished for more.
All you need for a short stay is there and Rafaella was so nice to buy us a bottle of Prosecco on my special request.
The apartement is in the middle of the Jewish district with great restaurants. Besides this, all the other highlights and shopping streets are within walking distance.
Rafaella, grazie mille once again!

My Mother and I stayed at Raffaella's apartment during our recent trip to Rome and would stay there again. The location of the apartment was excellent and the by far it's best benefit .
The Ghetto area is very lively with an active local community and some (bot not too many) tourists. The cafes and restaurants right outside the apartment door are great and serve some amazing food at fair prices. You are within easy walking distance to many of the major sites which is a real bonus.
The apartment itself is fine. Nothing too fancy but certainly provided for our every need although we did have trouble with the air conditioning unit which only worked some of the time. The apartment itself stayed cool enough without it though for this not to be a major issue even though it was quite warm over the 5 days we were in Rome.
We were able to use the washing machine and loved having our own patio to enjoy in the evenings before dinner. The neighborhood can get quite noisy at night but I would not let this keep anyone from staying here. If you are super noise sensitive, bring some earplugs. The location more than makes up for any noise!
There was no wi-fi access in the apartment, but the neighborhood itself is covered by a free wi-fi network and almost all of the cafes have free wi-fi as well so this was not a problem.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Not a 5-star property, but accurately represented in the posting and everything you would need for a nice, comfortable holiday in Rome with great access to sites and amenities. Excellent value!
Great apartment in a great neighborhood. Plenty of restaurants and sites within a short walk of the place. Garden is fantastic. beds were a little uncomfortable but not bad. Overall, this place helped make the visit in Rome fantastic. Raffaella was very nice, told us about the neighborhood and what was nearby, gave us a tour of the apartment, was there at the agreed upon meeting time.
Wonderful apartment in a lovely area. Close to all the sights (everything accessible on foot - or there is plenty of public transport for those who don't like walking!). Really nice, comfortable apartment, and the garden is a lovely bonus! We really felt so at home for our stay here! The building is amazing, with a little courtyard - just has a really historic feel to the place. The area is buzzing with lots of restaurants and bars right outside the door. For any cat lovers out there - We happened up on this amazing place, just around the corner from the apartment - Torre Argentina - a really interesting square of ruins, inhabited by rescued cats! (all sterilised and vaccinated by the charity who look after them - http://(email hidden)/index_eng.php) It's really lovely and historic - even if you don't like the cats - but if you do like them, bring a bag of cat food with you, I'm sure they'll appreciate it!
