  • My wife and me had a wonderful stay at Marcello´s apartment.;he is a very nice guy ; he give us a detailed explanation about what to see and how to move in Rome and and gives some advices about restaurants and local businesses ; he also left some croissants and a bottle of wine.
Clean flat and exactly at it looks like in the pictures:perfect for a couple.
Quiet area with many local businesses around.
I recommend, on the way back to the apartment ,to avoid taking any bus that stops at Viale di Trastevere and then makes you go by Ugo Bassi Stairs;it can be the last straw after a long day walking .
    We highly recommend it.

- Empfehlenswert!

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Marcello’s apartment. It is a nice, clean and specious apartment for two persons. Marcello is a really nice guy who takes time to explain things about the apartment and specially about Rome and nice places. His advices about public transport were really helpful. We appreciated his warm welcome with a nice bottle of wine.

  • Monica e Marcello's apartment in Trastevere is a great place to stay. It was big, comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. Great neighborhood and overall enjoyable place to stay.

  • Together with a friend I've stayed 5 nights at Marcello's place. He was so gentle to offer us a pick-up at the airport which was very helpful.
The showed pictures are authentic and the apartment is just lovely. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was even "emergency-pasta" and furthermore Marcello was so gentle to leave us some water, a bottle of wine and some sweets.
The apartment was very clean, everything worked just fine and we felt very comfortable.

We did a lot of walking in Rome, but it's easy to catch one of the busses near the apartment which will bring you down the hill to the centre. Marcello was very helpful and explained everything at the apartment, where to shop, bus-stops etc.

We were in contact with Marcello during our stay and he was always very helpful in giving you travel-directions and interested in making us feel at home all the time. We really, really enjoyed his apartment. We would definitively love to come back! :)

  • Our stay at Marcello's apartment in Trastevere was wonderful. The correspondence with Macrello contained a lot of really important and useful information which helped and saved us a lot of money and trouble. The apartment was fully equipped to the smallest detail, from food, water and wine to a first aid kit. The location was great - being in a true Italian environment and not a tourist one was a very refreshing experience for us.

Overall, I will definitely recommend this apartment to others.

Provided us with all the information for independent travel around Rome and always stay in touch !
The apartment is clean, bright, cozy in a quiet neighborhood near the center
a fifteen minute walk and you are there.

  • Marcello was truly one of the loveliest people we met on our month long journey.
He kept in touch leading up to our stay, offered great advice about purchasing tickets for the attractions, and was very flexible with the meeting time.
Marcello gave us some truly valuable information about the apartment, Rome, and some great eats in the neighbourhood.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, and even equipped with basic food which was handy!
It is in a friendly and safe neighbourhood, with a small supermarket just down the road and a bus stop outside the gate.
Staying at Marcello's was a highlight of our trip, and we were happy we ended our trip on a high.
Thank you Marcello - you are absolutely fantastic!

  • Our stay at Marcello's apartment was amazing, especially because Marcello spent time with us explaining how to get around Roma, and made fantastic recommendations for restaurants and activities. The apartment was very well appointed, and it was so lovely that Marcello left us some croissants and wine as well as some of the basics you need if you are cooking at home. The apartment was very comfortable and worked really well for us as a family of four ( 2 adults and 2 kids). Marcello's apartment was recommended to me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others!
