Just steps from 16th Street and Valencia, your stay in SF's Mission District means convenient access to some of the best chef-owned, specialty restaurants in SF.
We're In the center of everything this vibrant neighborhood has to offer - dozens of great restaurants, boutiques, galleries, specialty shops, abundant entertainment, famous murals, Dolores Park, a variety of clubs, historic sites (Mission Dolores, the original Levi jeans factory, etc).

A 20-minute walk will bring you to Castro, Civic Center, SOMA, Lower Haight, Hayes Valley, and many more neighborhoods - all with great sights and much to see along the way.
San Francisco is a wonderful city and we love to share what we know; we have annual passes to museums (The deYoung and California Legion of Honor - though no promises since ticket availability depends on our schedules to obtain them).

Mark and Rafael are lovely hosts - I was made to feel incredibly welcome. They were so thoughtful with lots of food and drink available. I was also given plenty of space to do my own thing which is perfect for me.
The location is great and the room is incredibly comfortable - I would definitely stay here again.
Rafael and Mark were incredibly welcoming and the room was beautiful. I very much enjoyed the experience and hope to stay here again if possible when I next return to San Francisco.
The private room was just what I was looking for! It was peaceful, clean, comfortable and filled with so much light! Mark and Rafael are friendly, communicative and respectful host. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby and it's really close to the BART. I definitely would stay here again if I am in the Mission District.
Mark and Rafael have such a lovely apartment. Super well located, immaculately kept, and the quality of the room itself is maybe the best I've stayed in in many airbnb-hosted trips to the US. Not only is there a really comfortable bed, there is a great little desk to do some work on and two sweet chairs - all of which gives the room a bit of a boutique hotel feel! All that is topped off by Mark and Rafael being such welcoming people and I enjoyed connecting with them. Very highly recommended and would definitely stay with them again should I be back soon.
Very friendly and welcoming to their home in the heart of SF's Mission District, Mark and Rafael made my stay completely wonderful. Comfortable room and clean shared bathroom was perfect for my needs while staying in SF.
Awesome experience! Mark and Rafael are really nice, the room and the location are perfect! Highly recommend!!
Mark and Rafael have been the most gracious hosts! This was my first AirBnB experience and I could not have asked for anything more. The facility is exactly as as described, very clean and convenient. Location is awesome, Bart station is only 2 min walk away. Good eateries nearby..
Easy going couple with a cute Jack Russell Terrier named Leonardo. Married in 2008, Rafael works in medical billing services, originally from Michoacan, Mex. and an excellent chef (previously a partner in a restaurant).
Mark is owner of an energy efficiency lighting co, an SF native who's also lived in Oregon and So Cal and traveled often.
