I thoroughly enjoyed my 8 night stay with Rafael, Mark and, of course, Leonardo! They were warm, welcoming and generous hosts: it genuinely felt like my home for my stay! The room was wonderful.. I loved watched the sun come up in the mornings! The bed very comfortable, great hanging space in the wardrobe and comfortable chairs in the room. I also enjoyed a refreshing G&T on the verdant little back balcony as the sun set! Perfect end to a warm touristy day.
If you really do want to cook, the kitchen is a perfect set up to do so...
The area is safe albeit diverse and interesting, with so much choice to eat, drink and potter about. Public transport is very easily accessible with No. 14 bus and F tram to CBD area.
This has been my induction to Airbnb and I can't think of a more perfect way to do so!
I can highly recommend staying with Rafael and Mark!
PS.. I LOVED San Francisco!
Mark (and Leonardo) greeted me with an open door and a warm welcome. There were chocolates in the room along with walking tour information for San Francisco. There was a great information sheet detailing everything I might need in case of an emergency, including a first aid kit that was made available.
We also had a wonderful quiet evening with wonderful wine, food and conversation. I truly felt like I knew both Mark and Rafael all my life. I also got to meet the two rescue dogs they were in the process of transferring to new owners. (I do hope the babies are now well loved and taken care of in their new home.)
The apartment is lovely. The place is exactly as advertised and a wonderful accommodation for the price and location. The bedroom truly is as comfortable and welcoming as it looks in the pictures.
The neighborhood is a fantastic eclectic mix of life! Many fine bars and restaurants to choose from which provided a real slice of life in San Francisco.
Transportation was incredibly easy with many bus connections available within a block or two along with very convenient access to BART.
This was my first stay with an airbnb stay and it was a wonderful experience. My hosts were very professional and great throughout. As a woman I felt very comfortable in their home and even in the neighborhood - a very short walk to the subway. I felt very much at home and enjoyed morning and evening conversations with them and their dog. Their house is very comfortable, spotless and very inviting. The room is just as it appears in the photo. The bed is very comfortable and the room is a good size. The bathroom is also very clean and easily accessible right next to the room. They were very considerate in making sure they were there to welcome me and give me the tour as well as to carry my suitcase up and down the stairs (3 flights) which was a big help. Plan to stay again during future travels. Highly recommended!
Excellent host! Wonderful place in a very convenient part of town. The host was very considerate and made me feel quite welcome, including me in lunch and providing helpful tips on things to do around town. Highly recommend!
Mark and Rafael made me very welcome. Although I arrived in the early hours of the morning it didn't seem to be a problem for Mark to be waiting for my arrival. I was shown great hospitality throughout my stay. Even on my first day Mark was kind enough to give me a ticket for the Bart to help me organise my week. The both also shared their wine with me and we had good discussions. Mark also very kindly printed off my boarding passes and a voucher for Alcatraz. The accommodation was very comfortable and was everything that it said it would be. Therefore, I would have no hesitation on recommending Anyang to stay there.
Mark and Rafael were incredible hosts. From day one, I felt welcomed into their home and was treated like a friend as opposed to an air bnb guest. I would wholly recommend anybody staying in San Francisco to consider staying with them. It was everything I expected and more.
