You will absolutely love this cozy, comfortable space tucked away in a unique corner of a unique city! Fully renovated in 2006 with bamboo flooring, Grohe faucets, subway tile, cherry cabinetry, flexible-control lighting, and Caesar stone counter tops. The contemporary furnishings exude warmth and style and the large windows let the light pour in. While this apartment is a mere 400 square feet, it has everything you need (internet, music dock, well-equipped kitchen, off-street parking) and nothing you don't (landline phone, TV - it's San Francisco, for Pete's sake. Get out there!).
The location is perfect for foodies, outdoor enthusiasts and sporting-types. Within a few block radius you will find restaurants featuring Chinese, Turkish, Indonesian, Burmese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Russian, French, Italian, Thai, Korean, German and American menus. Just to the north you will find the greenery, trails and history of the Presidio. To the south, the museums, gardens and ponds of Golden Gate Park beckon. A short drive takes you over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Marin Headlands, Sausalito and Muir Woods. Golf courses, tennis courts, and bike rentals are all just a short walk away.
Located in a well-maintained 6 unit building, you will find your stay here to be as quiet and restful or as ambitious and entertaining as you like. As comfortable as a boutique hotel, but much more affordable, this is a perfect spot from which to launch your San Francisco adventure. Welcome!

I can only say extremely positive things about staying in Scott's apartment- it was a delightful carefree experience staying there and Scott is so sweet as he leaves basic breakfast items for guests to use. The decor, amenities and vibes are much nicer than a standard hotel room at a very reasonable price. We stayed for 5 nights and we loved the richmond neighborhood where he lives, lots of great restaurants walking distance and downtown or getting out of town is a very short drive away. We had access to the garage for our car so our day trips went off without a glitch. Bottom line his place is beautiful, classy and homey and I would recommend staying there over a hotel any day to any friend staying in the area. 5 stars!
Scott was the perfect host for my in-laws visiting from the east coast. He provided them with a warm welcome (providing some wine & tea) and was flexible with their check-in and check-out times. His home is clean and modern and the location is perfect for any visitor to the city.
I look forward to reserving Scott's home again in the near future for friends or relatives.
My grandparents came to visit for a week and they loved Scott's apartment. It was beautiful, cozy, and well maintained. It has its own parking spot out back, which was really convenient for them since they drove here. The bed was extremely comfortable to sleep in, and overall they agreed it was a perfect stay. Thanks Scott!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Scott's stylish and ultra-clean apartment. The bed was super-comfortable and everything was in good working order. We really appreciated the parking garage and the peaceful environment. It's an excellent location--far from the fray of the big city yet close to some great areas such as Clement St., Laurel Heights, and Pacific Heights where we had some lovely meals. (We highly recommend Le Chapeau on 3rd Ave. and Clement for superb French food and cordial service.) Scott is (email hidden). He left us some healthy breakfast snacks and a delicious bottle of wine. We did not have the pleasure of meeting him in person either but hope to next time we visit San Francisco. He fully deserves five stars!
Scott's apartment is perfect. The layout is perfect. The neighborhood is perfect. It's quiet. It's clean. And Scott is the perfect host. Not only did he leave coffee, food and even a nice bottle of wine for me upon my arrival, he was very responsive and helpful every step of the way. I look forward to (email hidden) the next time I am in San Francisco if it is available.
Staying at Scott's is like staying at a boutique hotel minus the crazy Wi-Fi fees and parking costs. The bed is very comfortable. Sometimes beds are the weak point with Airbnb; not here. Even if I were a very nitpicky guest, which I am not, there are objectively no nits to pick here. Just a perfect experience.
Consistent, available, open communication with Scott, he met us at the apartment and was informative & incredibly thoughtful with wine & food essentials left for us to use, including beautiful toiletries.
The apartment for us is superbly located, quiet and also has easy access to public transport, restaurants aplenty nearby & grocery shops everywhere. Safe off street parking (we hired a car from Hertz, 2 streets from Scotts) & were able to utilize the parking facilities. Highly, Highly recommend this gorgeous apartment with all the amenities you will need. The bed was incredibly comfortable & the ambience of Scott's apartment is classy, relaxing & welcoming.
We stayed 4 nights at Scott's apartment and we loved it! It is really cute and we felt like home! It is a 15 minutes walk from the Golden Gate Park away and it's totally quiet, safe and clean there. During this days we had a though program and saw all the most important places in awesome San Francisco. A great time and thanks to Scott for all!!
My husband and I had a great time staying at Scott's place! He left us everything we needed (including breakfast food and a bottle of wine) and was very easy to get in touch with. The apartment is clean, sunny and relaxing. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in SF!!
My boyfriend and I stayed in Scott's place and had a fantastic time. The place was stylish, comfortable and spotless. We felt instantly at home. The neighborhood was very quite and safe and a great location between Presidio and Golden Gate parks. We walked almost everywhere.
Scott couldn't have been a more reliable, responsive and gracious host. A nice card, a bottle of wine and a transit pass to get us started on our first trip downtown awaited us when we arrived. I really feel like we lucked out on finding Scott's place on AirBNB.
I highly recommend it and we will definitely stay there again if we get the chance.
Scott could not have been a more gracious host! I rented his place for my in-laws because it was right around the corner from us. The building and apartment are beautifully decorated and very modern, perfect for 2 people on a San Francisco getaway. I may be biased since I live nearby, but the neighborhood is a unexpected gem in the city. There are so many great restaurants (Mandalay, Burma Superstar, Eats, Q), cafes (Village Market, Ashley's), boutiques (Foggy Notion, Park Life), and parks (Golden Gate, Mountain Lake) within a few blocks. Scott left a lovely handwritten note and a bottle of wine, which made my in-laws feel very welcomed. We will definitely be renting his place again!
