I am an artist and my home reflects a creative flair with art from around the world in each room. You will find my home very inviting from the moment you walk in the door. The home has a wall surrounding it creating privacy in the back yard. Enjoy the outdoor living style yard with an eating area and conversation area under the shade of our orange tree. Guests are encouraged to enjoy free run of the living space, The gourmet kitchen has every thing you need if you choose to do your own cooking. A gas BBQ is in the back yard.
The guest room has a comfortable queen size bed with luxury sheets and memory foam topper, guaranteeing you a great nights sleep . You will have flat screen cable TV and wifi. You will have a desk in your room for computer setup. The bedroom has a door that opens out to a private patio. The private bath is newly remodeled and pristine clean. I provide lots of large fluffy towels.
I have been an airbnb host in my home in upstate New York and in my winter retreat for the past two years. I have loved the experience and find each guest is unique; some may wish to be left alone and some may wish to engage in conversation. Either way is comfortable for me.
I spend most of my time in my own master suite, so privacy is not an issue. Non smoking non party environment home.

Leslie is a gracious host, her home is lovely (and you can squeeze your own orange juice - after you pick the oranges!), and her location at the southwestern perimeter of Old Town Scottsdale is well suited for walking anywhere you wish. The bathroom - private, though not attached directly to the bedroom - was very clean and came stocked with some soaps, shampoo, and lotion.
The house has a secluded feel, and one will have all the privacy needed. Yet a short walk away are two of the best restaurants in the area - Cafe Monarch and The House Brasserie. Leslie recommend the former, and I was glad she did.
If I find myself returning to Scottsdale this will be my first choice for accommodations.
It was a pleasure to stay with Leslie in her immaculate Phoenix area home. She is a kind and attentive hostess. Her beautifully decorated home and backyard oasis are the perfect places to relax after spending the day exploring Phoenix.
Leslie is a wonderful hostess. She went out if her way to make me feel at home. On the first night she took me grocery shopping. Then she explained everything clearly. She is a nice lady with an interesting story. She likes to travel. The room is super comfortable and I slept really well. There is a lovely patio directly adjacent to the room. My stay was really nice!
Leslie has a lovely home convenient to all things downtown Scottsdale! There are many great restaurants within walking distance. The home is beautiful, clean, and very artsy! It beats the same old white wall hotel any day. Leslie was also a wonderful host and I enjoyed connecting with her. Highly recommend this spot if you are traveling to Scottsdale!
Leslie hosted us for two nights at her beautiful home. Our only interaction with her was upon our arrival since we hit the ground running pretty much the moment we got into Scottsdale, but she was warm and welcoming and readily available by email which made everything run smoothly during our stay. Our bed was very comfortable, there was a closet to hang our clothing, towels were provided for us in our private bathroom, and we enjoyed our morning coffee with the birds out on the patio. An easy walk into the heart of Old Town. Our stay here was perfect.
Couldn't have picked a better spot to stay. The home is beautiful with an amazing outdoor space and a private bedroom & bathroom. And, it's located only minutes away from all that Old Scottsdale has to offer - bars, restaurants, art galleries, Cactus League baseball, to name a few. At a fraction of the cost of a hotel in the same area.
This one's a winner.
Leslie and Charles were great hosts. I was staying to watch spring training baseball (Go Giants). The room was very clean with cool art and a private patio. They have a beautiful house with a beautiful garden with cool succulents. Walk to downtown or "old town" Scottsdale in 5 minutes where there are many great restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again.
Leslie (and Charles home for spring break) were terrific hosts and their home is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable & our own bathroom just across the hall was very clean. The location to Old Town Scottsdale can't be beat. I would definitely stay here again and hopefully have more time to enjoy the patio!
Fantastic place to stay. Great house and room. The bedding was first rate.
This is a really great place to stay, and my host Leslie was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The room is very comfortable, and the bed was amazing. Anyone wanting to be close to what's happening in the entertainment district of Scottsdale should stay here.
