Located within walking distance to the Spring Training Stadium for the San Francisco Giants, and just a short drive to several other Spring Training Stadiums.

I am an artist and my home reflects a creative flair with art from around the world in each room. You will find my home very inviting from the moment you walk in the door. The home has a wall surrounding it creating privacy in the back yard. Enjoy the outdoor living style yard with an eating area and conversation area under the shade of our orange tree. Guests are encouraged to enjoy free run of the living space, The gourmet kitchen has every thing you need if you choose to do your own cooking. A gas BBQ is in the back yard.

The guest room has a comfortable queen size bed with luxury sheets and memory foam topper, guaranteeing you a great nights sleep . You will have flat screen cable TV and wifi. You will have a desk in your room for computer setup. The bedroom has a door that opens out to a private patio. The private bath is newly remodeled and pristine clean. I provide lots of large fluffy towels.

I have been an airbnb host in my home in upstate New York and in my winter retreat for the past two years. I have loved the experience and find each guest is unique; some may wish to be left alone and some may wish to engage in conversation. Either way is comfortable for me.
I spend most of my time in my own master suite, so privacy is not an issue. Non smoking non party environment home.

  • I would definitely recommend Leslie as a host to make your stay a special one. She's fun to talk to and she has great recommendations for restaurants and is helpful about places to explore. About as perfect as you can get. We found her to be an interesting and really nice person. Loved staying in her house. We woke up to the songs of spring birds flying by and then went out to the pool and sat under the orange trees to drink our coffee. This place is really clean and there is plenty of privacy. We had our own bathroom with a deep soaking tub and our own private patio just in case we needed a break from the pool area! I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Leslie...it was great to meet you and thank you for sharing your home with us. We will be recommending you to fellow travelers.

    Response from Leslie:

Thank you for your kind words. You and your sister are a great traveling pair to have visit.

  • Very much enjoyed staying at Leslie's. She is a great host. Very clean and beautiful home. I highly recommend, not too mention, wonderful to be near old town and all the great restaurants. Thanks Leslie!

  • Leslie was a wonderful host! Her home is artfully decorated, very comfortable, and extremely clean and tidy. The separate bed and bath were perfect for coming and going on our own schedule, but the private patio was an unexpected treat! We took advantage of the fresh oranges growing in the garden courtyard (sweet!), and use of the kitchen to prepare a light dinner. The location was peaceful and serene, but literally just steps away from an amazing array of food, art, cultural, and shopping options. She was so gracious, giving us tips on the area and showing us how to get around town (even drew us up a walking map of the old town and arts districts), and yet so unobtrusive that we hardly knew she was there. We would definitely stay with Leslie again!

  • Didn't spend to much time at the house, but it was a beautiful home (spa-like atmosphere) in a great location and Leslie and Charles were accommodating hosts. Great weekend :)

    Response from Leslie:

    Thanks for coming.

  • Leslie and Charles were welcoming and gracious hosts. Their unique home is immaculate, beautifully appointed, and filled with lovely art. It's set in a quiet neighborhood where bird song is the only sound you hear upon waking and where the scent of orange blossoms lull you to sleep. What a treat to pick oranges from their patio trees for juicing! The heart of Old Town is only steps away, and Scottsdale Stadium is a short 15 minute walk straight away down Osborn. Leslie is a walking encyclopedia of Scottsdale, having lived here for more than 30 years, and Charles is just as helpful. This friendly couple treated us as valued company and made it a very enjoyable visit both to their home and to Scottsdale. Thanks guys!

  • My 10-year-old daughter and I stayed with Leslie for three nights while we went to Spring Training and had a perfectly lovely time! Leslie's house is spotless and beautiful and filled with interesting art. The bed is better than my bed at home. The ceiling fans throughout the house are very refreshing. The yard is filled with lovely plants and singing birds. The neighborhood is very quiet but an easy walk to shops, restaurants, the canal, and -- most importantly -- Scottsdale Stadium. My daughter loved hanging out in the pool during our rare down times. Leslie is a lovely and helpful host! Fun to talk with and happy to offer information and nice to check in with at the end of the day. Thanks, Leslie, for a wonderful trip!

    Response from Leslie:

Thanks for coming. Think about visiting us in lake Placid this summer. Would love to host you.

  • Leslie is a gracious host, her home is lovely (and you can squeeze your own orange juice - after you pick the oranges!), and her location at the southwestern perimeter of Old Town Scottsdale is well suited for walking anywhere you wish. The bathroom - private, though not attached directly to the bedroom - was very clean and came stocked with some soaps, shampoo, and lotion.

The house has a secluded feel, and one will have all the privacy needed. Yet a short walk away are two of the best restaurants in the area - Cafe Monarch and The House Brasserie. Leslie recommend the former, and I was glad she did.

If I find myself returning to Scottsdale this will be my first choice for accommodations.

  • It was a pleasure to stay with Leslie in her immaculate Phoenix area home. She is a kind and attentive hostess. Her beautifully decorated home and backyard oasis are the perfect places to relax after spending the day exploring Phoenix.

    Response from Leslie:

Thank you for choosing to stay with me on your visit to phoenix. I really enjoyed having you. Maybe you will be able to visit us in Lake Placid some summer.

  • Leslie is a wonderful hostess. She went out if her way to make me feel at home. On the first night she took me grocery shopping. Then she explained everything clearly. She is a nice lady with an interesting story. She likes to travel. The room is super comfortable and I slept really well. There is a lovely patio directly adjacent to the room. My stay was really nice!

  • Leslie has a lovely home convenient to all things downtown Scottsdale! There are many great restaurants within walking distance. The home is beautiful, clean, and very artsy! It beats the same old white wall hotel any day. Leslie was also a wonderful host and I enjoyed connecting with her. Highly recommend this spot if you are traveling to Scottsdale!
