Similar to the 19th century Shakers furnishing, the pieces are simple, durable, and comfortable. The embroidery and lacquer paintings on the wall are from Vietnam, the moon guitar is the symbol of Hengchun town's folk music movement. The hostess was one of the founders of the Hengchun folk music Association. Play an instrument? Can carry a tune? Have a jam session with her :-)
It is the only guesthouse on this quiet street, with a shady walkway leading to an old fort wall ruin and South Gate. A block away from the old town street with lots of eateries and shops. Enjoy the quiet evening with a neighboring church and local residences.
Located in the heart of old Heng Chun town, 2 blocks away from the main Heng Chun transit station where you catch express bus to high speed rail and other major train stations. Hire a taxi or rent a motorcycle (the most popular form of transportation) near the transit station. Don't forget the helmet!
The only BnB in town that has a large courtyard and a roof top viewing deck. BBQ with the host in the yard, have morning coffee or afternoon tea on the roof top to see the distant Quan Mountain and sunset. It offers more than a room to spend the night.
Room is clean and the environment is comfortable. You can get lots delicious foods in Hengchun, and it's also a nice choice to stay here for Kenting tour, especially for the big family.
Room is a little basic but is clean and has everything you need. The large living room outside is very nice. One definitely gets the feeling of going back in time.
A good place to stay in Hengchun township and commute to Kenting for sight-seeing.
