I am going to Dubai March 21 - April 17 and am looking for nice, responsible adults to rent my apartment for as long as possible while I'm away. No smokers. Minimum stay 7 days. Thank you.

The space

Very safe and quiet building with a doorman located in lovely Gramercy Park area. 6-minute walk to Union Square. Access to 4,5,6,N,Q,R,L subway trains on Union Square. You can also transfer to F,V,1,2,3,A,C,E trains from L train which is 5 minutes away from the building. There are north-south and east-west bound buses in the immediate area of the building. This way you have easy access to all the areas of NYC. Plenty of restaurants, food and clothing stores and bars in the area. There are a number of cinemas in the proximity and within walking distance.
Bedroom features a double bed that can accommodate two adults. There is a small work area with a desk and printer. Central heating in bedroom and living room. Living room is featuring eclectic Moroccan design with nice options for ambient lighting and exotic atmosphere. Living space is consisting of two areas - for socializing and meditation/reading. In the living room one of the sofas pulls out to accommodate additional guests. Bathroom has a bathtub. Kitchen has all the appliances including the microwave. Every room in the apartment has a window (rare for NYC). Laundry is in the basement. There are also several laundry service locations in the area that provide pick up and delivery of your laundry.

Lana has a great space in NY. We had a very comfortable stay. Lana herself was very accommodating. She also made sure we had hanging space and hangers which came in very handy. Her bed was comfortable and so was the sofa bed in the bedroom. Special mention to the shower, temperature of hot water was perfect - Although we did not meet her, she was accessible via phone and email with any questions we had and answered all. She's friendly and really sweet. Her apartment is in an ideal and beautiful location - 4 blocks to the L train and a few more blocks take to Union Sq or you could walk up to 23rd and Park Ave and get the 6 train from there. Buses also ran on 2nd ave and 3rd ave in opposite directions, which came in handy when going to the East Village. Our stay at her place was wonderful. Thank you Lana.

Lana is an absolute sweetheart. She was always when we had questions, and she stressed that we should make ourselves at home. The apartment is located in one of the best areas in NYC.

I stayed at Lana's apartment with my Mom and sister for a week. It's very cutely decorated, clean and most importantly very spacious for NY, so great for 3 people. It's also on a quiet street - so it's a nice place to come back to and relax after a hectic day in the city. Lana was also a great host - so responsive before we got there, she gave us some great recommendations on neighborhood restaurants/stores and even made herself available to us while she was on vacation (but luckily we didn't need anything)! I would definitely recommend her apartment to others looking for a place to stay in NY.

Lana's apartment is beautiful. We had a great stay and there is a really good Filipino restaurant right near her. Great location, quiet place, and plenty of room. It is always safe when you have a doorman as well!

I had a wonderful stay at Lana's rental apartment. Location is about 9 blocks walking distance from Union Square and one of the bigger subway stations. The apartment was clean and equipped with heat for the winter, a comfortable couch and bed, extra bedroom, Full bathroom, and full kitchen. Noise level was low, doorman present 24/7 for safety. Connectable wireless internet throughout the building, which made up for the fact that there was no television in the apartment. It was a wonderful and stay and Lana was very helpful in all aspects of planning.

Very comfortable and clean apt - roomy for Manhattan. Perfect for three. New kitchen. Close to many great restaurants, groceries, and public transportation. Lana is a lovely person, and very helpful with directions! Please be advised - no TV. Not a problem for us with computers and free wifi, but just in case... Loved this neighborhood!
