Dominique's condo was perfect and exactly as described. The location was perfect. It's a 5 minute drive to town of Marigot on the French side which is a very nice with great food and shopping. 10 minute drive to the Dutch side with lots of casinos, shopping and night life. Oh and some great beeches. mullet bay was our favorite. Dominique was very helpful and responsive, hence all her great feedback. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to St Maarten.
Our four week stay at Dominique’s in January 2015 at her La Flamboyant condo was wonderful. Dominique was quick to respond to questions and concerns. She is not the typical French lady, no pretenses, friendly and helpful, delightful lady.
We do not like the fact that we cannot post without previewing her response as well as ours. First time we have had this type or method of feedback.
Dominique was a wonderful host! She greeted us on time, replied quickly to inquiries and was always available. She went out of her way to accommodate our ever-changing travel schedule. The apartment was as described, clean, comfortable, well appointed and well equipped. The neighborhood is secured by an entrance gate and is in walking distance to both the ocean and lagoon. The location on the island is nice too. You can be on the Dutch side in a 10-minute drive as well as some highlights on the French side in the same amount of time. Parking is also available just outside the door of the apartment. I would highly recommend a stay at Dominique's.
Dominique was very warm and helpful in my communications with her, and through my visit. Her studio was comfortable, and cute. It was nice to stay in a place with a feel of home.
Had a great time, Dominiques place was clean with all the amenities. We loved our time at her place.
Me and my husband had a wonderful stay at Dominique's place during holidays. Her apartment is very cozy and have all you need to prepare breakfast, dinner and all (I just loved the french press coffee maker).
When we first arrived everything was clean and in place. Dominique met us at the bakery on the residence's entrance and we've had a nice half-hour talk. Then she got us to the apartment and explained all we needed to know for a nice stay, from the coolest beaches to visit to all the details we should be aware of at the island. An important upside is the location. 5 minutes walk from a good french supermarket and a pharmacy, and 10 minutes-drive to downtown Marigot. We've had the chance to try a delightful french restaurant, Le Sand Beach, just 10 minutes-walk from the residence. Well, for American-style kind of shopping I would recommend the Dutch side, to get to Phillisburg it takes 20 minutes driving (you have to rent a car anyways). I could fulfill all the space available here only describing every little detail that made me love Saint Martin, but I will have to do it later. To sum up, I just want to emphasize that the first reason that made me love this island was Dominique's apartment.

About the Host, Dominique
AWAY from My computer from May 24th till June 15th 2015 , sailing to Nantucket. Sorry I won't be able to read any message during this time.
I am a 62 year-young Woman, born and raised in France but spent most of my life abroad. I love Nature, especially the Ocean, that's why I chose to move to St Martin from France 28 years ago. I am happiest outdoors and with friends and family. I SCUBA dive as often as possible, go and paddlie on my surfski, and hike with friends most Sunday mornings. Yoga and Tai Chi Chuan occupy some of my free time, and as well as Ari, my 4 year old granddaughter, and Gabriel, one, who live nearby with Mama and Papa. I teach French privately, free-lance as a Diving instructor and massage therapist (SHIATSU) . Responsible of the antenna of the NGO "mon ecole ma baleine" (My school my whale), educating youth about marine mammals in their own environment. I love to travel, explore , connect with people, read, cook and enjoy good food (Indian and Thai are my favourites) and red wine. In 2013 I bought a cute house in Oyster Pond (Windward side of the island) , about 40 minutes from Baie Nettle and moved there .I l used to live in the studio at the Flamboyant and loved it, but wanted to be closer to my grandchildren.
I will help you make your stay the best possible one and will answer all your questions to the best of my ability. Remember I've been living here 28 years.....
NOW is the only time we have. So let's ENJOY it ! Are you ready ? I hope to see you soon in Sunny St Martin !
