My friend and I made reservations to stay at Stephanie's guest house after 8 days of hiking through southern Utah. We were looking for a comfortable bed and a place to relax before flying out the next morning. We surprised Stephanie by showing up earlier than we had planned which ended up being amazing because we were able to interact with her and meet her 2 1/2 week old chick and know the chickens names and even meet the dogs... which was fantastic for us and our many days lacking animal interaction. It's not often that you get the meet your hosts and this was one of the best interactions I've had! The bed was comfortable, there was laundry available (returning home with clean laundry was amazing!) and the pool and sauna were so incredibly refreshing. It was everything that we wanted it to be!!! You guys are incredible!
The guest house was a great place to stay as we settled in to Vegas! It's perfect to use as a base for seeing the sights in and around the city as long as you have a car. Dave and Stephanie were very helpful providing information about getting in to the guest house and although we only met him briefly Dave was really nice and recommended various things for us to do. The facilities were great and it was very comfortable. Thanks again for a great stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this gem of a location. We were in the strip the days before but wanted a stay away from the traditional hotel to do laundry and just relax and this was ideal.
Dave and Stephanie's pool house had a very cool layout with lots of natural light. It had all the comforts of home, wifi, full kitchen, bed, etc that made a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of downtown living but still close enough to all the action!
The place was very clean and had a nice pool but we never got a chance to use it. My son loved seeing the live chickens! Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended for those with a car and looking for a great place to relax.
Stephanie was very quick and accurate in her responses. The space is amazing and I even wanted to leave the strip early because I wanted to come back to the fireplace and sauna. Such a great space. Rode bicycles to the strip in 20 minutes. Really enjoyed myself.
Very pleasant, sunny and airy guest house in a quiet neighborhood yet close to all. Loved having the laundry, pool, and sauna...only wish I had more time to take advantage of them! Great for a single or couple. Would definitely stay here next time I am in Las Vegas.
Beautiful guest house, quiet neighborhood, easy access to the strip. Highly recommend! Will stay here again if in Las Vegas again and it is available. A+++++
We arrived for our 6 night stay at Stephanie's Guest House with instructions to enter the lockbox, gate, and guest house. We didn't have any other contact from Stephanie during our stay, which is ok with me. I enjoy my privacy. It was a bit of a process entering the gate the first time, but you get the hang of it quickly. A short walk down the breezeway and you're in your guest quarters.
We found the space to be very spacious, eclectic and nicely decorated. It very much feels as though you are staying with friends, which has its pros and cons, I must say. The kitchen had every gadget you could ever need and more, but the place is very "lived in." We aren't super picky, so this didn't bother us, but if you're expecting an immaculate hotel-like feel, you may appreciate knowing this detail in advance. The kitchen sink was broken, and some things (like drawers and dishes) were a tad bit dusty and dirty, there was a large crack in one of the main windows, soap scum on the shower heads, etc... but again, for us, a non-issue.
We felt comfortable in the space and much appreciated the Wifi, Hulu, and Netflix access. The bed was comfortable, and my husband loved the various shower heads. We also loved having the washer and dryer because we had come from Joshua Tree National Park and we were quite dirty from our outdoor adventures. I did attempt to use the sauna once, but it didn't seem to be working. I didn't seek help from the hosts because it was my only opportunity. Maybe I was doing something wrong? We also took one quick dip in the pool but is was extremely cold at the time.
The guest house is just 15-20 mins from The Stripe. It wasn't a bad drive, though traffic could get thick certain times of day. We also found the location gave us quick access to Red Rock Canyon and Downtown/Old Vegas. The neighborhood felt safe. I took a few runs throughout the week and saw very few people out and about.
I'd recommend Stephanie's guest house for a comfortable off-the-strip stay in Las Vegas.
