We had a wonderful stay at the Great Gorge Guesthouse. Carroll made us feel very welcome and explained the area and available activities to us. The house is just as described and perfect for our family of 4. We made breakfast at the house and there were plenty of cooking pots/pans, dishes and silverware. We were happy to see a toaster and coffeemaker (also a microwave), as well as air conditioners in every bedroom. Nice location to local attractions. We really liked that the house was set just outside of the hub-bub of the city. We drove most everywhere, but walking would have been fine too. We were pleasantly surprised to see that there was an Aquarium across the road, and we were able to let the teens check it out on their own, while we relaxed at the house. Great location, wonderful host, I highly recommend.
The house was beautiful and very large! It was close to the falls in a very nice and quite neighborhood. Everything was super clean.
The house is just 10 minutes walking distance from The Niagara Falls and right opposite the Aquaruim. There are lots of eateries at walking distance making it convenient for people who don't have their own cars. We were even offered a drive to the airport by our host at half the rate of the taxi.
It was a wonderful experience. Loved staying here! I met Carroll and she was very welcoming and helpful. The place itself is very safe and good. It met all my expectations and is very close(We never had to use our car to commute) to all major tourist attractions in Niagara.
Good location near to the falls, most food and amenities are not too far away. Place is in nice condition and rooms were clean. Carroll was excellent in providing suggestions for activities around the greater Niagara region. Had an excellent stay at the Great Gorge Guesthouse

About the Host, Carroll & Andre
We are avid travelers and running this guesthouse allows us some freedom in the off season to do just that. Carroll spent most of her career in Human Resources but gave it all up (darn) a few years ago to open this guesthouse & hostel - leaving the wonderful California weather behind but gaining a wonderful husband. Andre is from Germany and we found each other here!
