An abundance of diversions await you from your central location in Silverthorne. Summit Stage, the free county transportation line, picks up riders just outside your door and stops at ski and shopping destinations. Steps from the condo, jump on the Salt Lick trailhead to hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski or mountain bike as far as you’d like, across many miles of trails criss-crossing the adjacent U.S. National Forest land. Some of the best ski resorts in the world are a short drive away, such as Keystone (9 miles), Copper (12 miles), Arapahoe Basin (14 miles), Breckenridge (15 miles), Vail (32 miles) and Beaver Creek (43 miles). Access to Lake Dillon is 5 minutes away. Silverthorne and the nearby towns of Frisco and Dillon feature beautiful city parks and trails for running, walking and biking. The Outlets at Silverthorne are just down the road. For those seeking full-service indoor activities, Silverthorne’s 65,000-square-foot Recreation Center (5-minute drive; $12 daily fee, with a $2 daily discount coupon on its website) features a hot tub, a sauna, a spa, cardio and free weight equipment, a running track, a huge indoor aquatics area with a waterslide, racquetball courts and a variety of fitness classes for all levels.
For day-to-day needs, a Target, a City Market grocery store and an eight-screen movie theater are within a 5- to 10-minute drive. Lunch and dinner options are abundant at all price points, whether you crave fast casual or more formal options. More recommendations are included in the binder kept at the condo that we’ve assembled for your use.

You know that BFF who invited you to use their home because they're away on a cruise? That's exactly what it was like staying at Laurie's condo. Her place is only 15-30 mins away from all the mountains, and has everything a proper home has - comfy rooms, huge tv, wifi, boardgames, washer & dryer...even a furnace! Everything is clean and neat. Also, City Market is only 5 mins away so yes, we cooked in the kitchen and enjoyed it so much. Laurie herself deserves an Olympic gold medal for service. ; ) By sharing all her local info thoughtfully, it was as if we were Silverthorne locals who knew where all the best deals were. We followed her advice (ski rental, parking etc) and saved so much money. Thank you Laurie!
We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Laurie's condo. It is much larger than I expected - the living room, itself, is quite spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cooking utilities, etc. I felt like I was on a cruise ship when I saw the folded towels in the bath tub! The location was also very convenient.
I hope to stay here again.
Laurie's condo is conveniently located off the i70. My group and I had no problems with getting around to vail, keystone, and Breckinridge. Everything is 15-30 min away.
The fireplace is awesome. It kept us warm while we played board games and watched movies. The kitchen has all the supplies you will ever need to cook anything.
We will definitely be coming back in the future!
Laurie's condo was even better than my friends and I expected it to be. It was spacious and clean. The kitchen came fully stocked with everything we needed, the bathrooms, bedrooms, and beds were all clean, warm, and comfortable, and the condo even came with several board games for us to enjoy. Laurie was an excellent host as well. She answered my request to book as well as all my other questions in a timely and polite fashion, and checked in on me during our stay to make sure everything was in order for us. None of my friends or I ran into any problems while staying here and I would definitely book with Laurie again in the future.
Wonderful place! Very accommodating and warm place to come to after skiing the whole day. Highly recommend.
The condo is as described by Laurie. It's centrally located, 15-25 minutes from Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, and Keystone ski lifts! Great communication prior to arrival, during & after the stay. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, watched the college football playoffs on the big TV after a full day of snowboarding, and the in-unit washer & dryer. Would definitely recommend this place & stay here again!
Laurie's place was way beyond my expectation! Her place is easy to access via Denver and very easy to access to some best skiing resorts in the area. The condo is like brand new and Laurie provided every possible things you need to live even for a long period of time! The indoor parking garage is awesome, especially during winter. She recommend a local skiing rental place (Mountain Sports Outlet) and it was just half mile away and it gave us big savings over the equipment rental at skiing resorts. I highly recommend Laurie's condo if you plan to visit Vail, Beaver Creek, etc.
I'm a hopeful old soul.
Affordable travel to new (and old) places is my favorite thing in the world, next to libraries and the family and friends I hold dear. I love experiences that immerse me in new cultures. My favorite activities include running, hiking, backpacking, skiing and healthful cooking.
My favorite places in the world include San Francisco, Calif. (near which I grew up); Yosemite National Park; Florence, Italy; and Mount Whitney, which my husband and I summited after two attempts. I look forward to showing them to our young daughters someday.
