Breakfast. Minimum stay 2 nights, May 1 - Oct 31, (unless only one is available)

This beautiful, casual, historic home, set in a residential neighborhood just 1.5 miles from the beach, is the oldest and best example of the Craftsman style of architecture found in the village of Seaside on the Monterey Peninsula. Built in 1910 by the Phelps family and located on a half-acre property, surrounded by organic gardens with private, gated parking, this property has views of Monterey Bay. Seaside is considered to be the sunniest place on the Bay.

One large bedroom with bath in private home, queen size 4 poster bed, wood stove, hardwood floors with natural fiber area rug, sitting area, desk, wireless internet, wonderful view of Monterey Bay, town and grden. We supply Dr Bronners soap but you will want to bring your shampoo and toiletries. Continental breakfast served in the dining room each morning, featuring an organic and/or natural selection . Access to washer/dryer/iron.

We are located less than a mile from Del Monte Beach where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea lions, otters and various ocean birds of this protected marine sanctuary. We are also minutes from the Laguna Seca Race Track, the Monterey Fairgrounds (Jazz festival, Blues Festival!) and of course, if golf is your pleasure, Monterey Bay is the place to come!

*Note, this is a private home, no smoking, 14 yrs of age and older please. We do have an outdoor cat and a small hypoallergenic dog.

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE during the months of May thru October we have a 2 night minimum booking. November thru April a 2 night minimum on weekends only. Age 12 and older
Quiet time after 11pm, no smoking in the house, no pets, our floors are 100 years old so please remove high heels, boots with large treads and street shoes to protect our wood floors. Please eat meals, take away and/or left overs in our dining room and not in our bedrooms. Feel free to use any dishes or cutlery. Snacks like chips/nuts etc are OK.
