The listing description and pictures are accurate. The home is very beautifully restored, and our room was no exception. We enjoyed all of the big details and small thoughtful details. In the bathroom, tissues, cotton rounds, qtips, shampoo and bath soap is provided. Ample towels were available, without asking. The towels were comfy, but on the small side. We noticed some hairs here and there in the shower, so rinse it off before before hopping in. They have a shoes off policy before heading up, so keep this in mind. I found the hosts to be a bit pedantic about the guidelines to finding their home and checking in which left us feeling unwelcome. Make sure you read the confirmation email five hundred times and dance around how you ask your questions or they'll otherwise resend the same email with bolded out paragraphs. Breakfast here was nice and generous. Yogurt, bagels, English muffins, fresh fruit, OJ, fresh coffee (caffeinated and decaffeinated), organic jams, cereals, and more were available. This home is on a half acre lot which looks very generous for the neighborhood. The hosts were otherwise very responsive with communication and were flexible to accommodate our late check-in. They provided detailed instructions for identifying the property, accessing the gate, and obtaining keys. I didn't have too much time to explore Seaside, CA, but the neighborhood seemed residential with typical suburban fare within 10 miles. Worth mentioning there is a large garden area around the property with many pretty flowers. They have private parking lot behind the gate.
This was a great stay we had. Very friendly hosts and an outstanding house just perfect. Our rooms with bath very very nice. You must see
We had a lovely stay - Jesse was helpful in providing ideas for what to do with our short time in the area. Breakfast was lovely.
Lovely room in a beautiful historic home. Very warm and hospitable hosts. Enjoyed our night there.
This is a beautiful calm place and the room is amazingly pretty. The fire place gave it that little extra and we had a great stay here. Our hosts were very helpful and the breakfast was nice and plentiful. Would definitely call this a top airbnb choice.
Nice central location and yet quietly secluded from hustle and bustle of town. Cookies and herbal tea waiting for us upon arrival was nice touch! 4 poster bed was fantastic and plentiful breakfast was icing on the cake. We availed of the kind offer of discount aquarium tickets :) much appreciated!
