My favorite features of the home are the modern bathrooms, outdoor spaces, and the "Parlor" or front room. The back deck is delightful for coffee during our spectacular Kentucky sunrise or a cold adult beverage in the evening. There are plenty of great spots to read, sit quietly, or take in the sounds of the birds and hum of small-city life.
The backyard spaces provide plentiful space to spread out and relax under the twinkling lights and colorful, fun decor. During cooler weather, you can enjoy the fire pit and have a cocktail by the fire.

Off the back door is a new deck with a table and chairs seating up to six guests.
The hot tub jacuzzi is located on the back deck with a hand rail for safety. Rules are visible and posted on the deck privacy scree, towels are provided, hooks for towels are located beside the hot tub. The hot tub is serviced and monitored regularly. We will do our best to notify you of when the service will take place, but is not guaranteed.
This spot shines with twinkle lights and ambiance at night privacy screens, yard perimeter has mature trees. It's a fun place to hang out in spring, summer, and fall.

Downstairs, a brand-new luxury tiled large walk-in shower is located off the den next to the kitchen. This bathroom addition is downstairs and not located next to the bedrooms.
Upstairs: One full-sized bathroom, newly remodeled with a large soaker tub, is in a small hallway outside the three (3) bedrooms.
Imagine a bygone time when this was the only bathroom for the entire house, which probably served 5-6 people. Eek!

Remember, this is a 1920s historic home, so there will be quirks. As much as we wish it were more accessible, this is NOT a wheelchair-accessible home.
There are many stairs. However, we have very nice and sturdy handrails anywhere there are stairs for your safety.
All bedrooms are on the second floor.
One bathroom is downstairs, next to the den. One bathroom is in the hallway between the three bedrooms upstairs.
We have put 110% into creating a wonderful experience staying at this or any of our properties.
