  • Margaret's and Nathan's place is wonderful. Comfortable and cozy, we felt at home right away. The apartment is located in a great, walkable area, easily accessible to the rest of the city. Great food options steps from the front door. We did not have the opportunity to meet Margaret, but Nathan was a gracious and generous host who went above and beyond to make our stay a success. This was our first airbnb experience, and it is hard to imagine how anyone could top it.

  • Great place! I highly recommend it.

  • Nathan and Margaret were friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the nice apartment, and especially benefitted by the excellent location (close to the Sprint Center). Nathan pointed out several nice places to dine within a short walking distance. I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, and look forward to staying again!

  • This was my first Airbnb experience and it was superb. Margaret and Nathan have an incredible home in a great neighborhood. The apartment was spotless, artistic, and has great energy. I felt at home and slept so well. The bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, lotion and lots of amenities. They were very gracious hosts and Margaret even loaned me her power cord to charge my computer. I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful location and home!

  • We were totally enjoying our stay. The house is super clean, and decorated simple and beautifully. I love the house! Also Margaret and Nathan are very considerate person. We hope we can revisit again.

The house is super close to the convention center. I attended a conference held there. We just walk around 10 minutes to convention center.

  • The only downside of this apartment was a full bed, as opposed to a queen (gf and I are sprawlers). Otherwise, it was an unbelievably cozy, spacious and amazing located apartment. The apartment has been wonderfully restored and Margaret and Nathan are great hosts. Just down the block is several great restaurants, shops and a coffee shop. You can walk anywhere in downtown KC and the Crossroads district from here. Definitely would love to stay here again. I left some beer in the fridge, if you hurry, it might still be there ;)

  • This is a great place to stay in a great neighborhood in KC. The hosts were very nice and showed us around the apartment, which is bright and nicely appointed. They have a keurig with lots of coffee, but you will want to stop by the coffee shop down the block - Little Freshie! They also had lots of nice extras like granola bars and tons of little bottles of soap and shampoo to choose from. I love this place and can't wait until I return. If you book here - eat at novel it was wonderful.

Nathan is from a small town in Iowa, and Margaret is from Lawrence, Kansas, where both attended the University of Kansas. Nathan is an entrepreneur running two startup companies--one focused on the tech realm and one that brokers reclaimed construction materials nationwide. Margaret works in public relations and fundraising for an art museum. As our jobs might reflect, we're into art, technology, and the environment.
