The house was absolutely lovely. It's in a quiet little village, yet just a short drive from so many activities, such as cave exploration, castles, canoeing, and the like. The pictures don't do justice to the home. It was idyllic. Our kids loved the pool. We loved the scenery and the proximity to numerous natural and historical sights of interest. Thibs was friendly and easy to communicate with as was his mother who runs the B&B next door. This vacation will be hard to top, though I wish we had at least a fan, if not air conditioning, as the temperature hit the mid 30s on some days.

We LOVED our time in St Vincent de Cossi and wished we could have stayed longer. Thibs house is in a very quiet village with incredible stars at night, lots of birds in the morning, and overall tranquility. My husband and I couldn't quite get over how idyllic the rural scene was every time we woke up. The house is very close by to amazing castles (Beynac is the closest) the Dorgonge river and about 40 minutes from incredible caves. We visited castles, took a boat ride, visited Rouffignac caves and canoed, and we still wish we could have stayed longer. The house is very family friendly, with a full kitchen, comfortable living room, and lovely patio outside for dining or just hanging out. We ate dinners outside and played games at the table too. The pool is a welcome relief from the hot summer weather, with a great view. Our kids loved the pool. I highly recommend this house and the region!

A wonderful stay in a lovely home for a fantastically relaxing time. It's the perfect base for exploring the incredible scenery and attractions Perigord has to offer. Thibs and his family were on hand to check us in early and give us the tour. The highlight was the rooftop pool and beach bar style terrace where we sat most evenings with a glass of wine watching the sun go down over the gorgeous valley. Would recommend it to couples, families, friends and the like.

We stayed for ten nights and had a wonderful holiday in the Dordogne, in no small part thanks to the beautiful house and surroundings, and Thibs' and his mother's friendly service. The house is clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds and blackout blinds and a full kitchen for self-catering. It’s ideal for families. The pool area and solarium are nice, with lovely views over the valley and of Château des Milandes, and the house is well situated for easy driving to many local attractions: ten minutes to Châteaus de Beynac and Castelnaud, La Roc Gageac, and Marqueyssac Gardens; and twenty minutes to Sarlat-le-Caneda and Les Eyzies. There’s lovely walking routes around the nearby countryside. Thibs dealt with any queries we had quickly. It should be noted that wifi in the house is very weak, though a stronger signal can be found up on the solarium. This is easily one of our best Airbnb stays and totally exceeded our expectations. We’d love to visit again one day. A huge thanks to Thibs and his mother for making us feel most welcome.

We had a great trip to the region. The house was comfortable, clean, spacious and very well-equipped. Thibs and his mother greeted us and we enjoyed our stay in their gite. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay in the Perigord at Thibaut's place! It was comfortable (nice beds!) and the surrounding area is just stunning. Located well off of a main road between the larger villages of Beynac and St. Cyprien, the territorial views are just stunning and Thibaut has created charming outdoor living spaces to take advantage of the views. There is a swimming pool up some stairs to the back as well as a lounging area with nice outdoor furniture. Aside from those spaces (one of which also overlooks an ancient Roman road that at one point went to Sarlat) I spent a lot of time on the very private terrace, which one crosses to get into the house. Thibaut and his mother, Francoise, who runs the hotel nearby were gracious, kind and very accommodating! We would come back in a heartbeat and hope to do so one day. Thank you SO much, Thibaut!

Bonjour,
