We loved Kristina's house. It was sparkling clean, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Three of us stayed here three different weekends during the past nine months. The cabin is on a beautiful piece of land, in a quiet idyllic setting. There is ample parking space for more than one vehicle. We would all happily stay here again, and are looking forward to another workshop in Montpellier so that we have a reason to come back. Thanks Kristina : )
Loved our stay. The cabin was everything we hoped for. Chickadees at the bird feeder, red squirrel on the porch, snowshoeing out the back door through beautiful woods filled with deer and then home to snuggle in front of the fire. All this and Montpelier 10 minutes away for great meals, farmers market and the Coop. We hope to be back!
Kristina was an absolute pleasure to book with. Her cozy log home is conveniently located to many wonderful shops and restaurants, but still nestled far enough back to feel secluded. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Kristina's cabin. Although the cabin is accurately described in the listing, the photographs don't portray how truly charming and thoughtfully decorated the cabin is. Kristina is an artist and some of her amazing art work is displayed throughout the home. Her David Bowie painting is not to be missed! Highly recommend! You'll love exploring the magical woods behind the house and warming yourself by the fabulous wood-burning stove. Don't forget to bring a deck of cards and a board game or two!
The cabin was amazing; always warm and cozy, even with the weather in the negatives. Really felt at home. Great stay!
Kristina is a very accommodating host, with a warm, charming home that was a comfortable setting for our friends reunion and cross country ski adventure at nearby Morse Farms and Trapp Family ski areas. Her log cabin gives a "backwoods" feel while having thoroughly modern amenities. The nearby Adamant store was charming and it is a short drive into Montpelier for more citified needs.
My fiancee and I stayed a long weekend in January and had a fantastic time! Kristina's cabin is lovely, comfortable, and well-provisioned. We had a blast snow shoeing on (and off) trails in the winter woods directly behind the house. You could not reasonably expect a more responsive or gracious host. Kristina was a pleasure to deal with, and truly made us feel welcome in her beautiful home.
We had a great weekend in the log cabin! It was well furnished, conveniently located, and very cozy.
