I had the most wonderful time at the Marin Manor! Pamela is a very interesting host and she helped to feel at home and invited me to really enjoy the lovely sun room/solarium...which I did in grand style!
The deer ( a fawn too!) walking and eating from her berry vines were so precious to observe. The spacious grounds and peaceful and serene feeling that her property generates, felt sacred at times.
Many thanks Pamela.... staying in your home made a very special event even better!
Pamela was a very welcoming and accommodating host. Our accommodations were just as described. I could not have slept better and more comfortably.
Marin Manor was a very nice experience for us. This setting is beautiful and the room is actually 2 rooms with a private bedroom and the other room is a sitting area with a small table for eating a healthy breakfast served each morning by the host. There is direct access to a small 3/4 bath giving you privacy. Pamela indicated that it is shared with another individual that rent s from her, but we never saw anyone and the bathroom was never used to our knowledge while we were there. We considered it our private bath. The only negative was the size of the bed and the mattress was pretty soft for my personal comfort, but not a huge issue. We enjoyed our stay and Pamela was very nice and very attentive and made it very easy for us.
Pamela was an excellent host. The house is in a very cute and quiet neighborhood, yet walking distance from downtown fairfax. You can watch the deer frolic in the yard while you eat breakfast. Pamela brought out fresh fruit and coffee each morning. Highly recommend the stay here!
second time I've stayed at Pamela's. Very gracious host, superb location, and the room is wonderful.
I spent a week at Pamela's place, working remotely while taking a much needed break from the city. Her place was perfect, and I really appreciated the extra sun room as a work space. Pamela is lovely and always made sure I had hot water for tea. I will definitely be back.
