About This Listing
Optimistic, original, colourfull bedroom in a beautiful apartament in the Jewish Quarter in Kraków. 10 minutes walk from the Main Square, many restaurants and pubs in the neighbourgood. Walking distance from the main train/bus station.
I offer a room in a great apatrament in the very center of Kraków. My place is located in the old jewish quarter called "Kazimerz", 5 minutes walk from the main square. It is in the old, 19th century house. The place is fully renovated and fashionably designed.
I offer a separate private room with a double bed for 25$ per night per 1 person. If there is 2 of you - the price is 35$
Of course you can use furnished and equiped kitchen and bathroom.
There is a wireless internet in my place, so you can easily connect with the internet from your laptop or mobile phone.
In the apartament there is also a second double bedroom for rent, so - if there is 4 of you - check my other offer.
The neighbourhood is very nice and safe, even late at night. There is a lot of great restaurants, pubs and cafes. At the same time, the quarter still keeps it's bohemian, aristic and unique atmosphere.
You can use furnished and equiped kitchen, and bathroom.
In the bathroom there is a washing mashine you can use with no additional fees, also there is no need to bring a hairdryer. I also provide clean bedding and towels. In the kithen you can use the fridge and also cook even the most sophisticated dishes, as the kitchen is fully equipped. I keep there some spices for my guests, there is always a couple of sorts of tea, coffee, and of course milk and sugar.
There is a wireless internet in the whole apartament you can use with no limits.
I also have a couple of turist guides in english and french, so you can use it while here.
Interaction with Guests
I live and work 10 minutes from the apartament I rent. So you can call me or text me and I'll be there within 15 min. Besides - Im very often in the apartament, just to check if my guests have all they need :)
You can check in whenever you want, but please, let me know aproximately what time you arrive, so I will make sure that either me or my boyfriend is around to open the door for you and leave you the keys.
If you arrive before 11am, it can happen that your room is not ready yet, then of course you can use common space (kitchem, toilet) and leave the luggage. You will get your keys, so when you are back from the morning walk you will be able to get to your room.
If you want to stay longer than till 11 am in the check-out day I may ask you to pack yourself and move your luggage to the common area. It happens only when I have another reservation for that day.
I provide clean bedding and towels.
I also provide tea/coffee/milk/sugar for your disposal.
My husband and I had a good visit in Kraków. The location was great and near a lot of good restaurants with grey prices. This was a large apartment with three rooms so the kitchen and bathroom were shared between up to 6 people at a time. We thought it would be more private but don't mind sharing. The kitchen was great and the fridge was big. We cooked a lot and brought leftovers home. The whole place was very colorful and had very adorable fish. The only hard part was the bed was a mattress on the floor and was very hard to sleep on. With a hard bed and the street noise combined with very thin curtains so a lot of sun comes in, it was very hard to sleep well. But we did our best and still really enjoyed our visit.
Great location, right in the old Jewish quarter and just a very short walk to wawel castle and the market square. Walkable from the train station or if you don't want to walk, a tram takes you right to the house. The house is nicely decorated with a lot of character. Mariola and Kuba are friendly and helpful and made sure everything is fine. Recommended!
Mariolas place is simply incredible - I have never seen such a special flat. Even though I couldn't get to know mariola I felt so welcomed and warm because of the beauty of her place. I definitely can recommend her place!
I had great time in Krakow, the apartment is really nice and close to everything you should visit in the city. Mariola is a great host friendly and ready to help. Thank you
Mariola's apartment provided a warm and welcoming environment during my stay in Krakow. My friend and I did not arrive at the apartment while Mariola was home, so she provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions to enter the apartment. She provided great hospitality and resources to make the stay very enjoyable. Additionally, the apartment is in a great location. It is near many of the main attractions of the city, making it very easy to navigate the city. I highly recommend booking this apartment to anyone staying in Krakow; you will not be disappointed!
Mariola was very flexible about check in times. We arrived early in the morning after she was okay with us leaving our bags at her place. The one thing we weren't prepared for(we probably didn't read the listing properly) is that the house is in the 4th floor and there is no elevator. Not a problem if you are looking for some exercise everyday :) The room is just about enough for 2 people. If you need a spacious bed to share with a second person, you could also look at the other rooms that Mariola offers, they are bigger than this room(the house has 3 rooms and we stayed in one of the rooms).

About the Host, Mariola & Kuba
We are a couple of young people full of positive energy. We live together with our cute little son Ryszard 5 minutes from the apartament we rent out. So - one of us will give you the keys and most of the time we will be around to answer your questions, give you an advice about where to eat/drink or simply to chat over a cup of tea or glass of wine :)
A couple of words about us - We practise yoga a lot, play tennis a lot, Mariola is also a snowbord fan, but Kuba prefers to spend winters on the sofa ;)
We both did our university masters in literature and theatre studies so we are just a bit of book-freaks :)
As for our proffesional life -Mariola is a co-owner of a custom publishing house. Her office is also 5 minutes from this apartament, so there will be no problem with meeting you/giving you the keys in the working hours. Kuba is an editor and does a lot of freelance stuff from home, so he is also available to help you most of the time.
We both travel a lot. We love travelling east - Balkans, former Soviet Union etc. We also love mountains - hiking in the summer, snowboarding in the winter.
We love meeting people from all over the world, chatting, exchanging experience with other travelers... In one sentence - we would love to host you! Yes, You :)
