A Victorian terraced home for families and friends to stay. We love travelling and are happy to share our home with other travellers. An added bonus - you can see the sea at the end of our street!
Our lovely Victorian house with its cheerful red door is only two blocks from Hove's quiet beach and seafront, complete with cycling lanes. Buses are close by and it's only 15 minutes to buzzing Brighton. Hove station, with direct trains to London Victoria and London Bridge stations is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute cab ride away. Brighton station is about a 10 minute cab ride. Trains to London from either Hove or Brighton take about an hour. Easy!
For your convenience our local shops are only a few minutes away and include a post office, good health food store, Co-operative, Sainsbury's and - (drum roll, please) - QUAFF, winner of Independent Wine Retailer of the Year Award (no, I'm not paid to market them).
Additionally, we boast Marraccos, a great family pizza and ice cream sea-side establishment that is less than a mile from our home. Top take-aways that do home delivery are close by if you want an easy night in.
Our light and roomy family house consists of three floors, including two bathrooms (ground and first floor), 2 bedrooms are on the first floor, 3th bedroom is on the 2rd floor.
The bed is a double sofa bed that folds up to a stylish leather sofa (thank you John Lewis!) it is very comfortable. It overlooks rear gardens, so is very quiet.
The large front room on the first floor has king size bed.
Upstairs, on the top floor we have a large room where with a double bed.
If we know in advance, we can leave some age appropriate toys and books for your child / children.
Please remember if you are driving, the fee is an additional £2.60 per day for an on-street parking permit that can be supplied on arrival. Also, we are close to two bus routes with almost every bus serving the South Coast and Brighton / Lewes / Rottingdean / Eastbourne leaving from one of our local stops.
Please note we do not have a TV nor video games. We can provide you with our Wifi password so that you can use your own equipment. Also, you can use my Mac desktop to watch TV or a DVD if you really, really want to....
I provide towels, sheets, soaps, shampoos, breakfast. They can use cooking oils and anything else left in cupboards and fridge.
They, of course, can also use washing machine and dishwasher.
Read whatever books you fancy.
My daughter's room is off limits and so is the stereo; however we will arrange it so you can plug your Ipod into the stereo - please just don't adjust settings or use turntable.
It is a home we live in so, of course, our possessions will still be in the house. It is a family home and not a hotel.
We love having people to stay and also enjoy using Air BnB when we travel. We hope you enjoy your stay at our house.

A lovely place! Check in was very easy and the house was perfect for our group stay for a wedding.
Lovely spacious house. Clean rooms. Nice location. As described. Food there for our arrival. Welcoming letter. Enjoyed our time there
Wonderfull house, we spend very nice holidays in brighton.
Kristin and family were very accommodating, letting us stay in their lovely home even though they were using some of it! The property is well situated - quiet and yet within reach of both the beach and Hove town itself. We walked to Brighton which you can do in around half an hour dependent on speed.
The property is clean, bright and tastefully laid out. Kristin even baked bread for our breakfast.
We had a great stay at Kristin's place - the house is beautiful, and not only did she stock the place full of goodies for our stay, she provided expert advice and instructions. Highly recommended! Thanks so much. Michael, Andy and Rebecca
We didn't meet the hosts, but arrangements with Laura to check in were very helpful and accommodating - communication with Kristin was pleasant and informative.
The house is beautiful, it was akin to staying in a boutique hotel. The beds were all extremely comfy and the whole house is clean and very stylish. We loved our stay, we only wish we had more time to spend in the house! Thank you for the generous breakfast provisions, that was a very nice touch and made our stay even more enjoyable!
Would absolutely love to stay again, and would recommend to all!
We received a lovely warm welcome (including freshly baked bread!).
The house is well located, close to a busy strip of shops and cafes and two blocks from the beach. There are some great parks nearby too.
The house was clean, bright and sunny with a lovely courtyard. We loved the piano and our kids loved all the toys and books left for them to play with. Also loved the massive bed in the master bedroom - better than ours at home!
Thanks to Kristin and family for a great stay. We would highly recommend their lovely house in Hove.

We have a lovely 3 story Victorian house two streets from a quiet sea front, complete with cycling lanes and great bus routes "into town". Additionally, we can boast a great pizza and ice cream sea-side establishment that is less than a mile from our home. Top takeaways if you feel like an easy night in. No TV, but tons of books! (If you really, really need TV, I can lend you our Ipad or laptop).
We love films and books and happy to talk about both over a glass of wine or two (or herbal tea!).
Please note this is a nice room in a family house.
If you are sharing the house with us, we are as quiet as we can be but if you are used to late nights and later mornings, our bustling to get out of the house in the morning may disturb your sleep.
If you are renting out the whole house, we have three bedrooms: one with a super kingsize bed and the other two with a double bed.
Please remember if you are driving, the fee is an additional £2.60 per day for an on-street parking permit that we will supply to on arrival.
Thank you! We look forward to meeting you.
