New!!! Just a few steps from home:
the new food store Eataly Smeraldo, piazza XXV Aprile
the big supermarket Esselunga, under Piazza Gae Aulenti.
Located in the Isola, an historical and typical area of Milan.
The district, despite having undergone a major redevelopment of the nearby Cittadella della Moda and the ultra modern tower Unicredit, the tallest building in Italy, maintains a bohemian atmosphere and a balance between tradition and innovation.
Here you will find famous clubs like the Blue Note, Alcatraz and Frida, craft shops and vintage, many restaurants, supermarkets and the typical local market.
Corso Como, with many boutiques and restaurants, and the charming Brera district can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.
The nearby Piazza Gae Aulenti, among the new skyscrapers of the directional centre, is perfect to relax at the coffee/bookstore Feltrinelli RED, at the gelateria Grom (ice cream) and in the big supermarket Esselunga you find whatever you need.
The apartment is just a few meters from Porta Garibaldi train Station (Malpensa Express, Italo, Frecciarossa,TGV and Passante Ferroviario ) and from the MM2 underground station (convenient to the Central Station -two stops-, the Cadorna station and the Navigli district) and the new metro line MM5 connecting the Bicocca university district and the hospital Niguarda Ca 'Granda.
The MM2 is also the direct line to reach the Forum of Assago and the San Raffaele Hospital
A few minutes there is the MM3 underground line (Zara) which leads directly to the center and to the Duomo-Montenapoleone, Via della
Being close to Passante Porta Garibaldi you can quickly reach the new Rho - Milan Fiera.
In the area there are also four car sharing stations, and just near the house, a bike sharing station and a rental car Hertz.

Wonderful location near lots of interesting modern architecture. Marina is a charming host and makes you feel like you were staying at a friend's house. She showed us where the famous places to see were located and gave us directions. She also pointed out a number of areas to find restaurants in. We went to one of the places she suggested and it was very tasty. The apartment had a lot of cool art in it and some interesting books about Milan.
this is an amazing apartment. a great host gives a lot info of the nearby area. Everything is perfect here.
The apt was bright and cozy. It made me feel as if I was coming home at the end of the day. It is an older apt so you have to follow some rules (ie: don't flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet or you will clog the pipes).
The apt is located in Isola which is an up and coming neighborhood. I liked that it was away from the city central and all the tourists.
Marina was a good host. She explained how the house worked and sights of interest to see around the Isola neighborhood. She recommended one of her favorite restaurants (Osteria dei Vecchi Sapori) which was really good and had reasonable prices.
Alles in Allem absolut empfehlenswert!
Marina's gorgeous apartment was our first ever AirB&B experience, and now every other place has a lot to live up to. Marina was very warm and welcoming, it felt like we were coming home. She was very generous with her time, giving us lots of excellent tips on where to see amd eat (the restaurant around the corner is fantastic). The apartment is perfect, well stocked with everything you need and close to the train station and an easy walk to all the sights. I would highly recommend Marina's apartment.
During the booking process, Marina responded very quickly to any emails and gave us really good directions of how to reach the apartment.
Marina made us feel very welcome, she was at the apartment to greet us when we arrived and gave us very helpful information.
The apartment had everything we needed, we have stayed in many apartments during our travels but never in one that was so well organised.
The apartment was just as the photos showed, it was very clean and quiet.
We would recommend Marina's apartment to our friends.
Thanks Marina, we had a wonderful stay in your cosy apartment.
Marina is a great host，she prepared everything we need. Thank you very much！
