  • Although we had little interaction with Sarah, she was a great host and extremely flexible about checkin. (We ended up leaving San Francisco MUCH later than anticipated due to work). Her directions were spot on and it was easy to find the place.

The location is fantastic - great access to anything would want to do in lovely Lake Tahoe. We highly recommend staying with Sarah!

  • The experience was perfect, all as advertised, very nice, including a nice private bath, pleasant little water feature fountain, nice.

  • Room was comfortable and quiet. I arrived late and left early each day, so pretty much just a place to crash for me. Location was perfect for my needs - incline village. Comfortable bed.

    Response from Sarah:

Hi Drew. I'm happy to give you a discount on the change of room. I'll call airbnb and see how to do that. Personally, I like the A+ Tahoe Queen w/ en suite bath the best so I assumed you would, too. And yes, the curtains pull to the side and the light comes through the trees outside the window and it does open nicely. Also left a fan for you to use in the window if you had wanted. The early morning sun is blocked by the mountain until later in the morning. Happy travels.

  • Sarah's place in Incline Village is a perfect hub for any North shore excursions. The room is very clean and private. Even my dog was happy with the accommodation, and he is hard to please. Thanks Sarah, we'll definitely be back soon.

  • Sarah's place was a great find and the perfect place for me to stay while teaching a course in Incline Village for 4 days. The room was comfortable, private, and well equipped. The bed is high quality. The bathroom is super nice with a great shower. There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Internet is fast. Sarah was out of town for the first couple of days but her friend was there to welcome me. I was quite busy while there and didn't spend much time at the house. The room is right off of the vestibule on the ground floor with the rest of the house being up a flight of stairs so it is really easy to get in and out of the room and it felt like being in a private suite.

  • Sarah's place is lovely, cozy, comfy and cost-effective. We didn't spend a lot of time there, but were treated courteously and found it to be a great base to explore the Tahoe area. Thanks so much, Sarah, Rebecca and Annie!

  • My Parents had a great time staying with Sarah! the room felt really welcoming and it was also great to get some suggestions for hiking in the area. thanks for all!

    March 2014
  • Sarah was a wonderful host. She provided exact directions to her house and had a room ready for us on time. The place is exactly as described: cozy, but suits just great for two people. The quality/price ratio leaves all the competitors far behind.

About
I live as an active artist - nature photographer and large format 'elemental essence' painter and photographer -- Lover of the mountains and the jewel of the sierra's - Lake Tahoe which is at 6250 ft. Magnificent surroundings inspired me to live simply with integrity, love, and consciousness; and my home is filled with color, light, and love. Joyful friends from around the world visit here and return to play in the snow and trees, mountain paths, streams, and crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe. My home is your retreat from the hustle and bustle of the urban life; yet, filled with creativity and opportunities to be active -- it is your choice. I came for a month to Lake Tahoe and stayed 13 years full time --enjoying the air clarity, active and artistic community of people, good restaurants, varied seasons, and opportunities to go deep into the beauty, inside and out. I live in a quiet, peaceful, and tranquil environment - where one can go out to the entertainment activities locally: boating, kayaking, bicycling, skiing, hiking, restaurants, and more. My incredible friend, Rebecca, will be your contact person if I'm traveling to airbnb places -- My amazing and wonderful daughter, Annie Mac, sometimes may be your point person. Expect the best we can do for you, from us all! I am available to help you plan your best and highest options possible to enjoy your stay. Arrangements can be made to guide you on your private nature tour; help you retreat inside to hear your authentic creative voice, or paint your abstract painting. In general, renew, revitalize, and enjoy your stay in Lake Tahoe. "Whatever you can do, or dream you can...Begin IT. Boldness has Genius, power, and MAGIC in it!"
