The villa is situated in the heart of Fiumetto (Marina Di Pietrasanta), immersed in a lovely location, with the beach at 300 metres and the Apuan Alps overlooking the landscape. Surrounded by the calm of Versilia, very bright and welcoming, it is perfect for families and groups of friends. The villa belongs to my family since my mother was a child: here, me and my brother spent the summertimes of our youth.
The villa includes:
* 3 bedrooms (2 queen sized bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 2
single beds and a chairbed);
* living room with sofabed;
* 2 bathrooms;
* wide hall;
* equipped porch;
* garden (with laundry room and car park).
If you love the mountainside, the Apuan Alps are just what you are looking for.
All kinds of services are within easy reach (pharmacies, supermarkets, banks, bathing establishments, Versiliana's Park, discos, pubs etc.).
The exit of the closest motorway is “VERSILIA”, five minutes far by car. Forte dei Marmi is right by the exit. The villa is 5 minutes from Pietrasanta, 10 minutes from Viareggio (with the relative motorway exit), about 30 minutes from Lucca and Pisa (car rental service available at Galileo Galilei International Airport), 40 minutes from Livorno, where you can take a ferry to visit Sardinia, Corse and Isola di Capraia, 1 hour from Florence, Cinque Terre, Rosignano's white beaches and Vada.

Guglielmo was waiting for us in the apartment and received us well with a map and good tips. Really great location in the historic town, only a 5-10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and Ufizzi gallery and 15-20 minutes to Duomo. Lots of restaurants, cafes and a supermarket close by.
The Apartment has a nice atmosphere. A very small bathroom and shower though, also need to turn the hot water boiler on 20 minutes before taking a shower.
I stayed the apartment for 3 days. His house is in center of Firenze (I think), so it's easy accessible to most places. Also it is furnitured well and there isn't inconvenience at all. Thanks Guglielmo.
Guglielmo is the best. My girlfriend and I arrived in Florence late. I had looked up directions from the wrong train station and then we had trouble getting a taxi. So while we were struggling to get to the apartment, Guglielmo was waiting patiently. I tried my best to update him about the delay but with limited wifi and no phone service, I wasn't able to get him much information.
Despite our lateness, Guglielmo was in great spirits when we did arrive. He helped my girlfriend with her bag, and then showed us up to the apartment and gave us the quick tour. He was very friendly, had a huge smile on his face the entire time, and quickly made us feel at home.
The apartment has a very nice feel to it and while the room is not big, we felt very comfortable in the space. The large windows opened up a bit to let some fresh air in and, being on the fifth floor, the view over the rooftops of Florence was enjoyable. The pictures of Florence hanging in the studio were a nice touch too.
Guglielmo was a great host, the apartment was in a perfect location, and we had a wonderful time during our short stay in Florence. I hope to go back eventually and I'd love to stay at Guglielmo's apartment again.
This apartment was a really great stay for us! It was clean and tidy, and Guglielmo was really kind is meeting us late at night for check in and showing us around the apartment. What we enjoyed best about the place is that it is right at the center of Florence, usually just a 2 or 5 minute walk to most spots! The other thing that was surprising about the place was the view! Being on the top floor, you get a really great view of Florence. It is a pretty small space, and though it lacks wi fi, the view and location makes up for it! I highly recommend this place! Thanks Guglielmo :)
Guglielmo kept in touch, was there to greet us and help take our stuff to the apt. The apt is in a great location right beside the Ponte Vecchio, which takes you to the inner city. The Pitt Palace is really close as well. Limited hot water, but if you ration right it's not an issue.
I had a wonderful time in Florence. Nicola's apartment was a perfect size for two for a short stay. Nicola was more than helpful and I would definitely encourage staying here - especially for its prime location!
Guglielmo's apartment was very cute, well priced and in a great location. Guglielmo was more than helpful, helped carried bags, accommodated our early arrival and was a pleasure to deal with. would more than happily stay in his apartment again next time in florence.
Many thanks to Guglielmo for a brilliant stay in his lovely apartment. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our short stay in Florence. We met Guglielmo briefly to take the keys and he was very welcoming, kind and helpful. Looking forward to returning sometime!
Simply amazing! We spent 3 weeks in Guglielmo's apartment and it was great. The location is probably the best in Florence. It was far enough away so you didn't have the constant packs of tourists wandering around but close enough to basically everything you would go to Florence to see. It was literally less then a minute away from the Ponte Vecchio! The area is super safe at all times of the day and there seemed to always be something going on (live music on the bridge, street shows etc)
It's true that the apartment is cozy, but we never found it to be an issue. The apartment is very clean and taken care of. We would definitely stay here again.
As for Guglielmo, he was an excellent host. Always answered emails promptly and was always readily available if we needed something. Very friendly and helpful.
We definitely recommend this apartment if anyone is planning on visiting Florence.
We loved Guglielmo's apartment. Guglielmo is very friendly and helpful and responds immediately to any request or question. We spent 5 nights there, and it was such a fantastic location from which to explore the city. Although small and with it's quirks (tiny kitchenette, very little hot water, no window screens), it was a lovely experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to visit Florence.
