Kickback and relax in this stylish vintage bungalow several blocks from the beach. Full of natural light and a fresh relaxing sea breeze. On the coveted Goldenrod Avenue in the heart of Corona del Mar, Newport Beach. Known as the Riviera of the Pacific, with pristine beaches, bluffs, and harbors. Charming, beachy, bohemian vibes. Friendly neighbors. Incredible sunsets. Walk to the beach, grocery stores, local pizza & taco shops, fine dining, farmer's market, and upscale high-couture shopping.

The space
This 1940s bungalow is located on a lovely palm-tree-lined cul-de-sac next to the historical Goldenrod Footbridge, which allows pedestrians to walk directly to the incredible Corona del Mar state beaches.
The 3 bedrooms are equipped with Samsung LED flat-screen TVs, upscale furniture, luxurious linens, and way too many ultra-fluffy pillows ; ).
There are 2 full bathrooms with a sink, shower, vanity, and the most luxurious water pressure this side of the Mississippi. The front yard features two porch swings, a large sitting area with a fire pit, a covered outdoor dining area (with direct access to the gourmet kitchen), a KitchenAid BBQ grill, and plenty of twinkling lights for al fresco dining at any time of day or night.
The backyard features a large sitting area, a 4-person hot tub with jets, and a covered deck box with all the swimming and playing yard games/accessories you could need.
In the gourmet kitchen, all the cooking and coffee essentials are provided. There are ample fresh fluffy linens and toiletries provided, along with some of the items you'll need for a fun beach day: beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys/games, and a beach umbrella. Fast wifi. Portable fans and space heaters, wall heater. (No central a/c)

Entire home all to yourself! Your own private front yard and back yard. No shared spaces.

Other things to note
Please kindly note:

*2-night minimum stay required.
*No events or parties of any kind. NONE. You will be removed immediately.
*No visitors are allowed. Not even Aunt Sally.
*NO SMOKING on/near the property, including cannabis, cigarettes, and cigars.
*City enforced quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am.

Important Note: Please be aware that this beach house can get hot during late July-Sept. There is a lovely fresh ocean breeze, but it doesn't get arctic cold indoors during those months; )

This is a darling old cottage! We like to call it *vintage* because it maintains all the charm of a midcentury beach bungalow (before CdM became what it is today). It was built by our grandparents 80 years ago! They were Newport Beach OGs. Our family treasures this home very much, and we've been put in charge of caring for it for future generations. For this reason, we want to make sure this is the right place for YOU.

Please read this and agree before you book your stay:
1) this is not a brand-new modern building with all the latest upgrades; expect a renovated beach cottage feel
2) if you're used to staying in hotels/resorts, you may not like the Airbnb route
3) we are located in a neighborhood where the houses are built very close together
4) we don't allow smoking anywhere on/near our property
5) it is dark here at night, the City of Newport Beach does not provide streetlights or alley lights because they want to discourage any "nightlife" in the neighborhoods
6) this is not a wheelchair-accessible house
7) you will park on the street, no covered parking is provided
8) we do not have central a/c or heating,
