About this listing
Copan Building is one of the most known symbols of Sao Paulo. It is also one of the most important works of Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. Projected in the 1950’s, it outstands curves and lines in the center of the city. The building offers a great variety of services, including stores, restaurants, wine bar, sushi bar, bakery, organic food market, beauty designers, coffee shop, pet shop, laundry and a DVD rental store. It’s next to health services, banks, book stores and public transport (subway and buses to all regions of Sao Paulo). It’s also easy to get there from the airports.
The apartment is on the 24th floor, with a unique and surprising view of the city. From there, it’s possible to see Sao Paulo and most of its touristic points, such as the Sé Square and the Sao Paulo Museum of Art (MASP). At night, the view is even better, with the lights of the city reflected in the sky. You can feel all the strength of the 3rd biggest city of the world. It’s possible to go up to the top of the building twice a day, to see the city in 360 degrees.
The apartment decoration is simple and follows the modernist design of the building, with black and white colors predominating. The guest will find a coffee machine, a toaster, an electric sandwich maker, a small fridge, a microwave oven, a grill, a flatiron and the kitchen utensils.
The internet is wi-fi 10MB/s and the cable TV hás more the 80 channels. The TV is a Samsung SmarTV with a 40 inches screen, with apps and radio, news, films and Netflix services. The entries are HDMI and USB.

Sempre bem vindo.
Luciano é um host incrível, muito atencioso e disponível. O apartamento é muito bom, limpo e organizado, em uma região central perto de tudo, restaurantes, metrô. E a vista lá das alturas é de tirar o fôlego! Recomendo!!!
The flat was exactly as shown in the pictures, basic but good for sleeping, as we were out all day visiting Sao Paulo. The Copan building and the view from the 24th floor are amazing. Good location near Republica metro. If you're looking for a home in SP this is not your type of place, but it's the perfect base camp to explore the city.
Copan is a landmark for brazilian architecthure. Since downtown São Paulo has gone through a recent revival process, I had never stayed there. Since then it has become trendier, cooler and mainstream and Copan stays on top of it. Location, services, transportation and cost-effectiveness can summarize the experience. I would recommend this place for anyone trying to live up a São Paulo that kept its 60´s-70´s vibe.
A mía experiencia no Copán foi súper ótima, o apartamento e bem funcional e teim una vista fantástica. O Luciano foi muito atenciosos e sempre fico atento para que tudo diera certo na minha estadía e assim foi. Recomendado.
Great communication, thee best place to stay in sao paulo; most incredible view guaranteed. Very safe and easily accessible to all parts of the city. The wifi didnt work really.. Says was connected but maybe just my phone .. Overall loved this experience
My stay here was very good. The room is clean and spartan. Similar in size to a standard hotel room. The Copan building is a pleasure. It's an interesting, somewhat strange building, full of curves. It seems to step from the past and the future simultaneously. The view from this apartment is fantastic. It never gets old. The Copan is located two short blocks from a subway hub that will connect you to the city. The building's ground floor has an extensive collection of mid-range restaurants, shops and a couple of places to enjoy a drink.
This area of the city is a source of debate for natives of São Paulo. The "Centro" region is a winner in my book with interesting architecture, parks and city government buildings. Critics complain about the excess of homeless people and garbage. A bit of an old Times Square-feel, perhaps. Women might feel a bit wary. During the day, however, the street energy can be intoxicating. It's safe. For night life, in general, you'll be seeking other areas of the city which are easily accessible via subways, buses, taxis. Think of Copan as a scenic, subway-friendly border between what some consider the large, safe area of the city and where things can begin to appear less civil.
Overall, this was a very good stay.
I had a very nice stay at Luciano's place. He's been very helpful and kind. Moreover the Copan building is just amazing. Would come again!!
