It's a apartment full of people & different schedules, use ear plugs if necessary. If you're a light sleeper or can't sleep on a twin mattress, this may not be the right place for you. We are a very communal/respectful group and strive to provide space for everyone to hack to their fullest potential.

economical and u got company of others. I like this hostel type environment.
My accommodations at SFO, Silocon Valley, Interview Bunk 7 have been pleasant to say the least. Erik is a good dude, who happens to be a head doctor. His cat is always hungry and it is comparable to getting tickets to a free show watching Sung-Yoo eat. The unit is close to a shopping center with plenty of good food to satisfy your tastebuds regardless of your ethnic background. If you need a place to crash on short notice, SFO, Silicon Valley Interview Bunk 7 is the place to be.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Like many other guests we had the surprise to share the apartment with more people than the place can handle. We've shortened our stay and asked Erik to refund the 2 weeks we did not spent there in the end.
Erik is a nice guy which in the other hand do not understand easily how to advertise his listing properly. Nonetheless, as we were leaving, improvements have been made inside the appartment and the photographs provided for the non-private room have been changed to match reality. The place might still be overcrowded for the taste of lot of people: 8 people for one rest/bathroom is not convenient at all.
I didn't read the reviews prior to my stay, so I was surprised to find this to be a 'hostel' with people sleeping on air mattresses in the living and dining rooms. I just needed a place to sleep for 2 nights while I worked in the area so this was ok for me.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable.
The other guests were friendly.
However, the pictures did not represent the actual living conditions. Furniture was replaced with air mattresses and guests luggage. Kitchen and bathroom were what you might expect with 8 people sharing the spaces. I did not meet Erik in person, but he was prompt with his replies and check in was smooth.
It looks like the listing has been completely revised to reflect the fact that so many people do stay there.
If you are on a budget, you cant beat the value.
If you are looking for a quality stay, not the place.
Once I got the initial shock of sharing the apartment with 8 others, I guess it wasn't so bad. My private room was very clean and comfortable. Just was a bit inconvenient to share the bathroom with so many others. :/
We were only at the flat for 8 hours after our flight was delayed so didn't meet Erik, but our room tidy and fine for what we needed with towels and a comfy bed. There were a lot of people sleeping in the lounge as soon as you enter the flat but we were expecting this after reading reviews and it didn't bother us. Good overall, thanks Erik!
Everything was good. If its ok for you to sleep with other people in a house, then its good for you.
