Nes is a luxury House in Nature Hiking Paradise alongside Norðurá river. 4 bedrooms, 10 people, 2 bathrooms, hot tub, river and mountain view, walking distance to Waterfall Glanni, Lake Hreðavatn and the Crater Grábrók. Close by is the beautiful Borgarfjörður area and Snæfellsjökull National Park.

The space
Nes has an open kitchen-living room with a large walk around worktop in the kitchen. It is very spacious and ideal for family and friends preparing a good meal together. In the kitchen there is high quality white ware and equipment for cooking. The living room has large windows and amazing view. Even if you are inside it feels like you are out in the nature. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable with good beds and beautiful view. The bathroom is spacious with a long bathroom table, a large shower room and a warm towel rack. The house has all latest equipment; FREE WIFI, large Flat Screen TV, Dishwasher, Washing machine and everything between. See detailed facility and equipment below. The guest house has a double bed and a bathroom with a towel rack. Beside the guest house is an outside shower, perfect to use before entering the Hot Tub.

On the large patio surrounding the house there is a nice Hot Tub that fits up to 7 people, Outdoor Shower, Barbecue grill and comfortable Outdoor seating. Perfect for making a good meal and relax in the peaceful environment.

The design of the house is outstanding and well thought out. It has large windows to the ground, open space, Natural stone tiles, Designed lighting and one of the most advanced and greenest floor heating systems installed in houses today. The heating system is perfect and we can guarantee you a warm and cozy house in the winter time. The house is designed by one of our greatest architects, Guðfinna Thordarson, that has also designed many other modern houses in Iceland.

A memorable day to the Snæfellsnes National Park with a snow scooter trip on top of the amazing Snæfellsjökull glacier, a visit to a natural hot spring like Deildartunguhver, amazing waterfall like Hraunfossar, Historical Viking place like Reykholt, Cave like Víðgelmir or take a walk into the glacier Langjökull. Stroll through the nearby cozy town of Borgarnes and drop by the cafes, museums, shops and restaurants. Take a drive to the Reykjavík Capital with all its glory, nightlife and culture. Spend a day on the Golden Circle and see the exploding Geysir with all its natural power, drop by Thingvellir national park with all its nature phenomenon and view, in close up, the beautiful Gullfoss waterfall. After exploring the Icelandic nature during the day you will always come back home in the evenings to this modern architecturally designed house in Víðines and probably the first thing you will do is, relax in the hot tub with a glass of red wine and enjoy the Northern Lights in the peace and quietness after a memorable day.
