Elegant Frames Room Plaza Catalunya

Apartment - Private room · Carrer del Consell de Cent, Barcelona, Catalonia 08007, Spain

The Space

Hello, this bedroom is part of a huge apartment with three private Airbnb rooms. A fourth bedroom is inhabited by a friend of mine who takes care of the place in the mornings.
Elegant and quiet, the double bedroom boasts light and comfortable space with an eclectic array of frames and furnishings. It opens onto a sunroom at the back of the apartment, here in the heart of beautiful Eixample.

You have access to a huge lounge and kitchen. There are two shower rooms with WC, dining room, and a large sunroom at the back with separate access from the bedroom.

This is a friendly and international apartment welcoming singles, couples (gay-friendly included), friends or business travellers who want a perfect and central base for getting around town.

Your setting here is right beside Rambla de Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia and a 4-minute walk to Plaza Catalunya, with shops and bars in your surround. Nearest metro Passeig de Gracia or Plaza Catalunya, with direct links via train or bus to and from the airport. Two of Gaudís landmark buildings are blocks away and the Modernism Museum is around the corner. I may throw the occasional sushi dinner party for those of you who like sushi.

*There are 3 bedrooms available to rent in total. Please refer to the Coolest Urban Pad (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/901562) or the Arty Space (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/901580) listing.*

Overall Guest Satisfaction

  • The room was very nice. There is no window but lots of light coming from a sunroom. The appartment is perfectly central. There are two bathrooms, which is convenient as there are 4 rooms in the appartment.
I did not meet Zara but communication beforehand was very good. Alex, who welcomed me, was very friendly and helpful.
    Very nice experience.

  • Zaras place was very central and beautiful. Our room was clean and the kitchen was big.
A cozy modern apartment, perfect for young and stylish people.

Unfortunately we didn't met Zara, but we had another nice host who was very friendly.

We will definitely tell our friends to try to get this room for a trip to barcelona.
    It was a pleasure.

  • Zara is a very nice host! She handed me the keys and showed me the places to eat and see when I got there. She doesn't live in the apartment. She has a friend who lives in the apartment, didn't get to talk to him. There is a map on the fridge that has some restaurants marked. The room has a slight scent of cigarette when I entered the room. The sheets are also no the cleanest. There is no lock on the door.
However, the apartment is in a very convenient area, very close to Casa Batllo. short walk to the train station, with train directly to the airport. The room is very spacious, with access to a indoor balcony. The internet is fast enough for looking up maps and stuff to do..etc.

  • First time when arrived in Zara's home it was great. She is friendly and told me everything about Barcelona, where you can eat with cheap price, supermarket, transportation, and etc. Password for Wifi also available in the small desk beside your bed, it helps much so you dont need to ask her. Before I went to upstairs, I met a men he is Luis, he is Zara's friend, he helped me how to reach my room with elevator and the whole rules inside the building. Everything was good, the room, view, bathroom, dining room but somethings made me wanna check out at that time, I was took a shower, I just arrived in Barcelona, tired, and wanna have some relax, I think I didn't use the bathroom for 1 hour, it just about 25 minutes, but someone insist to come in , knocked the door even knew that someone used it. It wasn't a polite knocked, hit the door for 3 times, and I said "Hello Im inside, just a couple minute again" and not answered. It wasn't a good condition, I didn't know who was knocking the door, whoever hit the door I just want to tell you that you need to know when there was someone in bathroom, please wait until it's not occupied, you know you are a guest too, and Im a guest too, please respect other guest, as we know we are pay for staying here don't act it's your own bathroom. This is my bad experience caused by other guest not by Zara. Zara is good, and Luis too. They are helped much. The next day in the morning, I checked out and move to Hotel near La Rambla and I texted Zara what happened last night. Thank you Zara and Luis for your help.

    Response from Zara:

I always ask guests to please respect each other's space and privacy in the apartment and usually there are no problems with this. Unfortunately Amelia left very early in the morning so I was able to resolve the issue for her of the person knocking the bathroom door.

  • Formidável!!!!Muito céntrico!

  • Nice spacious apartment on a central location with many public transport options
Very convenient to have two bathrooms.

    February 2014
  • Great, spacious flat, very well located. A few things to note:

    - there is no lock on the door or safe place to leave your valuables, which is problematic when sharing the flat with other visitors
    - sound travels a lot throughout the flat (only a problem if you intend on sleeping ;) )
    - it is a little cold in the winter, but we were given a little heater, which helped

    Response from Zara:

We operate on a trust-based system regarding locks on the doors, as I want to retain the casual apartment feel and not make it into some sort of anonymous hostel. Airbnb guests have always respected each other's private space and we have not had any problems with this to-date.

  • 집 이너무 이쁘고 교통도 좋고 추천해요
