Quiet hours are 11 pm to 7 am.....but we know that life doesn't revolve around those times. Sometimes a great life just happens!
We enjoyed our stay at Greg and David's house. It is well equipped and has everything you need for a short or long stay. It was very clean and was an easy drive into town, located on a quiet street. David met us on arrival and showed us around and was available for any queries we had.
David met us at the house, and was very friendly. The house was as described, and everything about the house well explained. It's clear that David and Greg have really thought things out and tried to make things go as smooth as possible.
He suggested a really good place to get fish and chips. Which we all loved. And the kitchen was well equipped for when we ate at home.
They had lots of booklets in the house with information, which was nice as well.
It was a cozy little basement apartment. It was the perfect size for our group of three.
My 6'4" boyfriend loved that the showers were large enough to fit in and that the shower heads are high enough to that he didn't have to crouch. (Which happens a lot). Though there was one corner he had to watch where the ceiling was lowered for light fixtures, but it was just the one place and at 5'3", I didn't have a problem at all.
All in all it was a great stay.
Thanks for sharing your home with us.
Me, my mom, and my sister really enjoyed our stay at Greg and David's house! It was 10 minutes from the airport which was very convenient, and a quick drive to the downtown area. Greg met us at the house and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. We exchanged cell phone numbers so we could text him if we had any issues, but we had none. We loved having two bedrooms and two bathrooms and felt safe in their home. We would like to come back to the island some day, and hope we can stay at Greg and David's place again if we do! Thanks again Greg and David :)
I am really happy I stayed at Greg and Davids place for my two weeks in PEI! They met me at the place when I arrived and took me grocery shopping and helped make sure I was settled in including showing me where the vet school was that I would have to get to and suggesting other cool things to do. They were also nice enough to give me access to a vehicle and bike so I could better explore PEI as well. And of course the basement suite is also really comfortable and nicely renovated. Would highly recommend!
About the Host, Greg & David
We spent over 4 years renovating this older bungalow and are very proud to share our home with visitors from around the world.
Greg is a Community Health Nurse who travels across the country to work with First Nations people in Northern Manitoba. He gets to experience a part of Canada that very few would ever experience and loves to talk about it. David works in logistics with a large food production company. Both like like to build, renovate and repurpose. Lots of the things in both of our houses are repurposed!!
We are both outgoing, personable guys who are proud to give you a wonderful, nicely appointed and affordable stay while on PEI. We're happy to answer any questions about PEI or our home.
