The basement suite was located in a quiet residential neighborhood. We treated the property like our home so we were able to access grocery stores and cook our own meals. Being able to do laundry in suite was a real bonus after a week's travel. Greg was incredibly hospitable and was flexible about our arrival hour. He made our first AirBnB experience a pleasure.
Gregg welcomed us at the door for our week-long stay. The neighborhood was very quiet and parking was good. We cooked breakfast and several dinners and the kitchen was very nicely equipped. The mattress was incredibly comfortable--always a plus. The cleanliness was impeccable. Very nice accommodations.
Greg showed up shortly after we arrived and was very helpful giving us information about the area. Honestly the apartment had everything we needed and was very well stocked. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood that felt very safe and near to everything in Charlottetown. It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of brochures on things to do in the area. It made our first visit to the island enjoyable and I would stay there again in the future.
David was a great host providing us with a park pass and a recommendation for the best fish and chips I've ever had. The apartment was as described and clean.
About the Host, Greg & David
We spent over 4 years renovating this older bungalow and are very proud to share our home with visitors from around the world.
Greg is a Community Health Nurse who travels across the country to work with First Nations people in Northern Manitoba. He gets to experience a part of Canada that very few would ever experience and loves to talk about it. David works in logistics with a large food production company. Both like like to build, renovate and repurpose. Lots of the things in both of our houses are repurposed!!
We are both outgoing, personable guys who are proud to give you a wonderful, nicely appointed and affordable stay while on PEI. We're happy to answer any questions about PEI or our home.
