what an amazing view to wake up to, or have lunch to on the lovely wooden bench outside. A great space for our romantic weekend, truly well adapted. Simple and for us nature lovers perfect. Gracias.

Sol and Joan made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived at their cabin. The cabin was beyond perfect for a weekend escape in the countryside. The views are exactly as depicted by Sol and Joan, if not better! The interior of the cabin is cosy, warm, clean and well built - it's simply gorgeous. The stove provides great warmth, much like the warmth of Sol and Joan's welcome :) We went horse-riding with Joan on Sunday morning and it is clear that he and his wife are two people who care deeply about the welfare of their horses. The riding experience was well organised and we felt safe at all times. Sol and Joan recommended us a nice market to visit on the first day of our trip as well as giving us information about nice walks and drives in the locality. It is necessary to have a car to make the most of your stay. Once again, we cannot recommend a stay in this cabin, and these hosts highly enough :) Merci for our lovely stay, it was molt ben! We hope to see you again - love, your Irish and Polish friends

Secluded property in the absolutely gorgeous foothills of the midi French Pyrenees. Becuase of a family emergency for the host we ended up staying in the cabana house on the property (it's a large primarily family oriented house) so I can't speak to staying in the cabin itself or any additional activities Sol provides, but I can say the property is lovely (especially the little Jack Russel Terrier Izú who seems to oversee the place) . It a large sort of farm rural property on a hill side. Excellent sauna near the cabana house. The cabin itself is the most secluded part of the property on top of the hill, just don't expect it to be extremely isolated. Location is very rural and the nearest town is tiny so plan on cooking a good portion of your meals. Saint Girons is the closest town of major consequence and takes 25 min or so to drive to. I do reccomend mostly that guess drive around the higher altitude areas in the Parc Naturel Pyrenees Ariegeonises. Plenty to do and some excellent hiking there. Expect to drive around a bit becuase you are aren't directly up in the mountains, just nearby.

We were warmly welcomed by Sol and family to our first air bnb stay. Their log cabin is nestled above and away from their family home so you are not intruded on at all. Sol invited us to explore their grounds which we were thrilled to really is a slice of paradise. We were able to rent towels which enabled us to have a relaxing dip in the salt water swimming pool; a must! We joined Sol and family for dinner which was superb. We were even lucky enough to try some of their home made apple juice and cider which was delicious. Overall we had a fabulous stay at this lovely unique accommodation and would definitely stay there again.

A lovely wooden cottage with a beautiful view over the Pyrenees. You really experience the outdoor feeling because the toilet, shower and kitchen are outside. Moreover, the horse riding is highly recommended. We had a lovely time and Sol en Juan can tell you everything you need to experience around Saint-Croix-Volvestre!
