nella propria camera, aerando la stanza, l'ospite può fumare se lo desidera.
Nell'appartamento ci sono due gatti quindi altri animali non sono ammessi.
I stayed for four nights. The location is as good as it gets. It is very close to the main train station and bus stop. Area is quiet and safe at night and the unit and common areas of the apartment are clean.
Please note that there is wifi, but not for you, as it slows her neighbours connection down. The host was very reluctant to let me use the washing machine.
Communication with the host by email was impatient and curt. Host did not communicate for about 7 hours on the day of my arrival even though I had previously specified an evening-check in. I emailed her at 2 pm with my approximate arrival time for ~6:30 pm. I had to wait outside her building for 2.5 hours until 9 pm when she came home.
In person, Alessandra was really accommodating and concerned for my feeling welcomed. I appreciated the kind gesture of her buying and preparing me breakfast every morning, though it was not included nor requested on my part. Alessandra also invited me to join her for aperitivo with her friends, even though I couldn’t join her. She also provided me with a map of Florence, mosquito repellant, and lent me an electricity adaptor when mine failed to work. Listen to her advice on the city sights, as some of the best sightseeing I did was based on her recommendations.
Thank you for your feedback, but I don't agree with something you wrote:
About check in: I've asked you, a couple of weeks before your arrival, to tell me the time of your check in and check out, usually guest manage it in advance but you didn't.
I wrote you that I was very busy with work, and I could notcheck e_mail on Sunday, because I was very busy, and to tell me in advance the time of your arrival.
You didn't replay for days, and then, on Sunday, you decide for a LAST MINUTE check_in,
but I wrote you, in time to manage, that I could not check mail until 8pm on Sunday, that is week end and I gave you my phone number.
I've asked you in advance for a MORNING check in, but you choose to a late evening and last minute one (9PM).
About WI-FI: I clearly wrote "NO WIFI" on my air bnb link, because I can't share at the moment.
About laundry wash: As I wrote on the air bnb profile: I allow guests to use, for free, 1 a week, but you stayed for 4 nights and ask for a few things to wash, that is very expensive and waste of water sorry about that there are a lot of laundry-wash in the area.
I had a wonderful time staying with Alessandra. She was a very welcoming host and went above and beyond my expectations to ensure I had a good month in Florence. She gave me lots of suggestions of places to tour, visit, and restaurants to eat at, and also took me to the market and showed me around in my first few days with her. I also had the privilege of going out with her and her friends a couple times. Alessandra's apartment is perfectly located - it is in the centre and therefore is close to all the touristic locations, Santa Maria Novella station, shops, and also many less touristic and more local areas. I did an Italian language course while in Florence and Alessandra was very helpful in assisting me with learning the language through our daily conversations and time getting to know each other. When I get the chance to return to Florence, I will definitely be visiting her. Grazie mille Alessandra :)
Alessandra's home is in a perfect location in Florence. It is in the midst of museums, churches and historical areas, and the bus is just around the corner. Alessandro is very helpful and speaks EngIish well. She also makes a very fine cappucino! I had a wonderful week. Thankyou Alessandra.
Alessandra is a very nice host~
i really enjoyed my time there in firenze, and the location is also very good just in the city center!!!
This is your only choice for Florence.
The apartment is ideally located--just two blocks from the Duomo. It retains the location minus the hustle and bustle of tourists. There is no city noise.
The space is large, very clean and charming. There are plants everywhere, which is a homely bonus in Florence which can sometimes seem like it is made entirely of stone. There is a lovely view from the windows.
There is a supermarket behind on the next street, and a wonderful pastry shop around the corner in St Marco square.
Alessandra could not be more lovely. She patiently dealt with my complications. She answered all questions quickly. When I arrived she and her friend invited me to their favourite gelato place. Listen to her advice, she has good taste. She also helped me navigate to the supermarket and essential shops.
She also offered breakfast, coffee and some sweets.
The reservation was canceled 58 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I had a wonderful time, Alessandra was the best host. Her place is rustic and super cool. I would certainly recommend her place in Florence to anyone. She made me a lovely breakfast every morning, and allowed me to use her kitchen which was a big bonus.
